There are even two pet tortoises (Fred and Ginger) in the grounds. This is a beautiful detached cottage style villa set in private walled gardens amongst mandarine trees and flowers, a riot of colour during the summer months. Large, private pool, sunny and shady terraces, 2 bedrooms (one en-suite), open plan living area and galleried landing.

Each season the English owner makes updates to this house. Summer 2012 saw the extension of the second bedroom which now offers flexible bed space for either twin beds or a double. During Winter 2013, the shower room has been transformed to a super luxury shower room. 2014 Saw the rebuild of the second shower room and in 2017 the kitchen was refurbished. No surprise this house gets the highest percentage of repeat guests, they come back year after year...... Outside, the Hidden Garden, and private pool are pure delights. Hidden Garden - because that's just what it is. The prize-winning beach of Turgutreis, is just 10 minutes walk away. On Saturdays, the town hosts the biggest market (pazar) in the area, where you can mingle with locals and tourists alike bargaining for items of clothing, fruit and veg and articles of interest.The English owner of the house has put care and effort into the design and decoration of the property, his love of antiquities shows inside and out. He has taken care to incorporate elements of local architecture and lifestyle such as open plan and split level features, antique marble ornaments, local Anatolian handicrafts, Italian tiles and stone walls.

Ground FloorHas a spacious LUXURY bathroom with walk in corner shower, wash basin, WC and full length mirror and a bedroom which can sleep one or two people. The owner has extended this bedroom so it now has twin single beds which can easily be made into a large double bed, depending on guest requirements. This now suits families or couples. The open plan living area has a traditional fireplace, comfy and stylish furniture, local satellite TV and WI-FI internet access and a fully equipped kitchen, complete with oven/hob and grill, fridge freezer, washing machine, breakfast bar etc.First FloorThe split level gallery bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed, luxury en-suite shower room with WC and wash basin. This room has a delightful Juliet style balcony which overlooks the pool and gardens.Pool towels are provided. Interim mini clean and linen change included in stays of 2 weeks. Additional cleaning can be arranged on request.A safe has also been installed for guest use to store passports/valuable etc.Solar Panels have been fitted to the roof for instant hot water.

SWIMMING POOLIs larger than average for the area and is approx 8 metres long by 4.5 metres at its widest point and 3m at its slimest point as it is bean shaped. It is 1.40 cm in shallow part and 1.65 cm in the deep part. Ideal for family.

POOL TOWELS are available for guest use.

Outside/Garden etc

Bright orange fruit from tangerine and pomegranite trees, sparkling blue pool, lush green lawn and vegetation and bright flora bring a riot of colour to your eyes. A sunny and shady terrace with purpose built stone furniture, complete with soft cushions is available for you to sit and take in the sights and sounds of the gardens. There is interest all around as marble or antique ornaments are scattered tastefully around the courtyard terrace area. Calm and peaceful is the order of the day. Garden 'guests' are Fred & Ginger, the 'husband and wife team' and pet tortoise who live amongst the shade of the garden and will join you during your stay!

TurgutreisThe prize winning beach is just 10 mins stoll away. Here, you can spend your days sunbathing, swimming or take advantage of the water sports activities available. Turgutreis has many shops, bars, cafes and restaurants all offering delicious Turkish food and other International cuisine. If its a warm atmosphere you want, then Turgutreis offers it, if its total relaxation and quiet, then slip back to this calm oasis and enjoy a nightcap or sundowner in your own hidden garden.Wireless internet access.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
