A unique place in Tulum town to spend your holiday ! One of the biggest house and garden space in Tulum. Nestled inside a huge lush tropical garden with a beautiful swimming pool among the trees, this is THE perfect place to relax ! It can accommodate up to 14 persons and very soon we will have a new unit L'atelier, a mix of industrial and open space apartment for 2 persons.

CASA LIBELULA. is located on a large plot of land with a jungle landscape composed of tall trees and a large variety of tropical plants (orchids, bromelias, palms trees)...not to mention the beautiful round swimming pool with a small island in the middle. The house is nestled in this green paradise providing plenty of space to wander around. Hammocks will invite you to a great moment of tranquility and relaxation admiring the decor you will be part of: experiencing a real piece of jungle in Tulum town !!! You can rent the entire villa or one of the 3 units: CALAKMUL, COBA and, EK BALAM depending on your needs.

CASA LIBELULA is a Safe and Quiet place in a residential area: a nice mix between local population and foreigners with a welcoming and friendly attitude !

We are located few blocks from downtown ; our recommendation is to ride a bike and get to know all the corners of Tulum (short ride from the beach by the bike trail). You will feel like at home !!!

To come to the villa, we will send you an itinerary and a map with all the instructions to locate where we are. On the corner of our street called Palenque, there are 2 well known restaurants as references: El Camello and Los Aguachiles. If you prefer, we can also book transportation from and to the airport or a car rental for you can get faster to our paradise !

All the information about the villa Casa Libelula & amenities will be sent to the guests before arrival. A guest book with complete details about the property, Tulum and activities will be at the guests´disposal in every unit of Casa Libélula. Casa Libelula is a brand new place to be in tulum where you can savor the originality of the building surrounded by jungle has been built with soul and heart by the owner as an artist's palette.

To help with the enjoyment of your vacation at Casa Libelula, please see the following helpful tips (you will find a useful guest book in every unit of the villa) : guests are free to do whatever they want if they respect the place and leave it at it was before.

We want people to feel comfortable like in their own house...just few recommendations: try not to smoke in the bedrooms, maintain the garden clean, try to recycle the most you can (compost for organics). VERY IMPORTANT !!! All the toilets are equipped with an ecological plant, so you cannot flush toilet paper or use any chemicals (same situation everywhere in all the Riviera Maya). Use the baskets for this. Respect the environment by using the AC units with doors and windows shut and switch them off when you are out.

CASA Libelula is a stunningly beautiful place tucked into a quiet piece of jungle just outside of Tulum town. There are 3 separate apts., but you can rent one or all depending on your needs. You can walk to a few restaurants and stores, but need a cab to get to the shopping area & beaches. Very cheap (150 mx) for a cab. Laurette & Tibo are just wonderful and will assist you with anything you need. They even shared their dogs with us. I miss Popote!!! We stayed in the Coba Apt and it was amazing. Plenty of space, great kitchen, over the top porch looking into the jungle heaven.. I’ve already recommended to a friend! You will not be disappointed with this choice!!!!
