"Beautiful family house - home from home and a great base for the Aude region"
Our family of four (mum, dad and two boys aged 9 & 12) had a truly fantastic holiday. Jackie and Andrew have refurbished this town house sympathetically and there are lots of lovely little touches. The bedroom and bathroom in the "cave" were brilliant as they were considerably cooler in the very hot weather we experienced. The spacious bedrooms and living area meant grown-ups and kids could take a break from each other when needed, and the patio area complete with candles and fairy lights was ideal for entertaining friends who were staying nearby. The complimentary bottle of wine and extensive guide to things to see and do in the area were much appreciated. Mosquito nets and lavender in every room really kept the mozzies at bay. The easy proximity to two local pools (the municipal pool and the pool at the La Peirière campsite) as well as numerous local beauty spots for river swimming kept the boys happy. Thank you for a lovely experience!

"A four hundred year old Gite immaculately renovated"
Ideal location if you want to stay in a traditional French village close to Carcassone environs. The village offers all amenities, and the Gite is within meters of these, such as supermarket, bakery and butcher. There is excellent wine tasting within walking distance. The locals are friendly and accommodating. If you like walking or cycling it is a paradise, the landscape is rugged and stunning.
