If it is found that there were extra guests without gaining permission, the security deposit will be retained. If the level of cleaning required after stay is deemed to be excessive a portion of the security deposit may be retained. If staying from Tue into Wed we ask that the refuse bin is put into street on Tue evening, (check colour put out by other householders). Thank you

Excellent Cottage in fabulous location.

The cottage is close to everything you want to see or do in Troon. The cottage itself is well maintained on the inside and the garden was lovely and private. Would definitely consider visiting again.

Location perfect, garden needed attention, only 1 1/2 toilet rolls, only 1/2 kitchen roll,dishes in kitchen were too high up, had to stand on chair to bring them down, I did give.my age, oven was not.… More

I apologise profusely for the tv suddenly breaking down after 5 years of use. A replacement tv and MORE toilet rolls were supplied within the hour of her phonecall..Outwith this I am not going to gratify this guest with a response to her other points as clearly as an elderly lady a fully managed service (to e.g switch on the heating and find the large supply of extra towels) would have been more suited to her- .Our 4 other guests in the month all gave 5 star reviews on another site.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If MURRAY (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
