Description

Price includes full use of both Mongolian Yurts and the Converted Barn that is directly connected to the large Yurt. Down the staircase in the large Yurt you will find fully fitted bathroom and a Wood Cabin that directly connects to the Kitchen. They kitchen/living space is large with plenty of space for big groups. The smaller Yurt is close by and set back into a lovely garden with spectacular views of the mountains and valley below. This tranquil site will immediately bring back those memories of adventure and freedom. With beautiful surrounding hills and rivers that can all be explored. A welcome pack of the basics and fuel for the log burners are provided. We are fully kitted out for cooking with a beautiful converted barn kitchen. There are beaches 10mins away! Lots to do for kids and walks on our doorstep. Perfect for big groups! The site can sleep 9 people in beds and we can provide an additional blow up bed an no extra cost for a 10th guest if you require.

All bedding/towels and fuel for log burners are provided. We have large comfy kingsize beds here at Hapus Yurt, along with one lovely handmade single bed and of course an extra blow up single bed will be provided for bookings with 10 people or when requested. The space feels really unique when you are here. The main yurt has a spiral staircase leading down to a chill zone and to a fully fitted bathroom. This is where you will find our "loo with a view" and a comfy seat under the stainless window.

The kitchen is well equipped. When you arrive you will find a welcome pack including: Lemon cake, marshmallows, milk, tea and coffee etc.. The smaller yurt is furnished very similarly to the larger yurt, but without the staircase. The smaller yurt has a authentic wooden shepherds hut loo and shower directly beside the yurt. This loo is a Bio composting toilet - Are plants in the garden love it! The closest beach is Colwyn Bay, only 10 mins away. Its lovely with a really cool place to eat (Bryn Williams) practically on the beach itself. Guests may use the entire garden space. There is lots of parking and beautiful local walks.

Both yurts are yours to fight over as we only allow one group of guests at a time, you also get to use the kitchen/living space as much as you like. All garden areas and several fields with lovely walks are available for all guests to explore in. There is a river that you can hear from the yurts and spectacular views. The yurts are heated and have electricity. The kitchen/living area is fully equipped to cater for all your needs. With WiFi, Sound System, A huge kitchen table for all guest to sit at, Log burner, and plenty of seating. Upon arrival you will find the following in the kitchen: Tea, coffee, milk and seasonings. Along with all the usual kitchen utensils and crockery. Please ask for details of kitchen appliances. You also might find a homemade cake! Yummy!

Jack your host uses part of the site as an art studio. He will be there to greet you upon arrival, however once you have settled in all guests will be left to there own devices. Your host will be around for any questions about the site and to help you get those log burners lit. Most evenings the site will be left empty for the guests to get some privacy, but your host will be easily obtained by phone if needed.

If discussed with host, you my have a BBQ, please bring coals to cook on, we have an area with lots of stone where you can make a small fire too. We do not provide logs to burn on outside fires but you may go exploring the woods to find sticks to burn. The main thing is to make yourself feel at home. Use the grounds, make the place your own. Remember if you don't ask you don't get.. Feel free to enquire about anything that might make your stay more comfortable.

Things to note:

Linen and towels are provided. We do not cook guests any meals. The essentials will be provided, these include; tea, coffee, milk, sugar, some snacks etc and homemade cake! For more info on what is provided please contact your host. Wood, coal and firelighters are also provided. The fires will be lit and the coal buckets filled when you arrive. There are also lots of things to do during your stay, with Snowdonia at our door step you'll be sure to find lots of fun activities. If the great outdoors isn't your thing the space here at Hapus Yurt has plenty to keep you entertained be it rain or shine. We don't have a TV, but we have books, cards and board games. Your host will happily help you discover what the local area has to offer.

We don't ask guests to strip the beds. We do ask that the kitchen is left tidy There is a dishwasher, and we don't mind if you leave it full. We do ask guests to empty the general waste bin. You may leave recycling on site. Please keep recycling separate from the general waste. Please remove general waste (all that can't be recycled) at the end of your stay. Failure to do so may result in an addition waste removal fee.
