Then in August there is the Oyster Festival at Polzeath, Jazz festival at Pencarrow House and if you like the age of steam there are lots of steam rallies in Padstow, St.Merryn, St. Columb and Looe to name but a few. There is always lots to do both on bright sunny days and dull days. St. Issey is also well known for being on the 2012 series of Caroline Quentin in Cornwall.

Tregonce

The Padstow area has lots to offer the tourists. Lots of walks, beautiful golden beaches. Lovely restaurants. Fish and chips by Rick Stein. Carnivals in the summer. Fishing trips from the harbour, pleasure trips out to sea and up the river to Wadebridge. Speed boat trips, chances to learn to surf and windsurf, catch the ferry to Rock and learn to water ski.
