From the owner

Villa Vesuvio, built in 1960, refers to the typical Mediterranean architecture and it's located in the heart of the National Park of Vesuvius. The villa rises up in a panoramic position on a side of the volcano facing the sea and it has the advantage to be one of the houses closest to the crater. The wonderful and amazing terrace of 120 square feet (including 70 covered) leads you to the living area which consisting in a kitchen, large living room and bathroom. The sleeping area, on the first floor, has two double bedrooms and another bathroom. From the huge garden (1500 feet square) you'll have direct access to the pine forests of the National Park, where you might delight, enjoy and admire glimpses of a breath-taking panorama and a great variety of birds if you love bird-watching. Also, on the grounds there are many (and seasonal) fruit trees, an olive grove and three vineyards; Therefore, during your stay, you can enjoy all the products from the cultivation. By walk, it's possible to reach the Terminal Busvia of Vesuvius where the ecologic buses will lead you on the top of the volcano or if you love excursions you can walk through the old path called "La strada Matrone" which represents the most suggestive route of the whole National Park. With just 5 minutes by car you can easily reach the ancient Roman ruins of Pompeii (destroyed by the volcano on 79 A.D.), as well as the beautiful and particular black sand beach of Torre del Greco equipped with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. Also it's ppppppvery easy to reach the wonderful city of Naples, the historic baths of Agnano, ancient Roman ruins of Herculaneum, Sorrento Coast, and the ferry boats to the marvelous islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Antonio (the owner) a message.

If Antonio (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
