North Wales is an extremely popular holiday destination, with its varied but unquestionably stunning scenery; ranging from the dramatic Snowdonia mountain peaks to the rugged beauty of Anglesey's coastal paths and beaches. Increasingly accessible by road, rail and ferry from Ireland, there is a wealth of things to see and do. Whatever type of holiday you are searching for: whether with family, a romantic break, indulging in your favourite sport, sampling locally produced food and wine or exploring this ancient land's rich cultural history or even all of the above, North Wales has it all and more!

Trearddur Bay

“Spacious house in a superb location”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2015

This was our first stay at Hafod although as a family group we have been coming annually to Treadur Bay for 20 years so there was a little apprehension in the camp of the change of location - we need not have worried, the spacious lounge with open plan dining area and kitchen was ideal for us all to be together and yet there is plenty of space if one of the group wants time on their own. It's location is stunning and with a large lawn there is room for sun bathing and even a game of cricket. We all agreed at the end of the week we had made a move for the better.

“Absolute perfection!”

We Stayed here withe friends and family for a long weekend of walking, fun and games. I found it to be exceptionally well equipped, everything you could possibly ask for, just brilliant!

“Amazing location, lovely house. Home from Home! Definitely will return”

What a fantastic weekend! Hafod is just gorgeous inside and out. We visited with adults and children and we all adored the place. Lovely weather which set off the beautiful surroundings, watched seals over the garden wall, had a beautiful walk along the coastal path to The White Eagle pub and the obligatory play on one of the lovely beaches. All in all a wonderful weekend spent in a well equipt clean house. The owners were more than accommodating. We couldn't have asked for more. We will be returning next year. THANK YOU!

“Great house, fantastic location”

I am pleased to take this opportunity to thank Anglesey Escapes, and Melissa Hatton in particular, for so efficiently arranging and organising our recent stay at Hafod. We were a family party of twelve, of all ages. Everybody loved the house, and really enjoyed the location, which gave plenty of room for the younger members to play. We celebrated a 30th birthday party in style and with privacy, utilising all the available facilities. All in all, I would heartily recommend a stay at Hafod, especially if you are aware of, and interested in, the Monsarrat connection.

“Birthday celebrations”

We loved "Hafod " so much it was on my mind for days after we returned home to our 1930 s large house. The welcome was amazing ,the heating was on ,there was small vases of fresh flower arrangements everywhere ,in the kitchen coffee tea milk and biscuits . I don't know where to begin ,although we knew the view very well but to look out of every window to see the waves at the bottom of the garden was spectacular. The sofas tho fairly old were so comfy it was hard to leave them ,same thing with the large comfy beds. It was the best stay ever in Treardur Bay and we've been holidaying there for 40 years .

“Lovely location”

The house is in a great location with easy access to nearby beaches. The rooms were very spacious and there was plenty of room for 10 adults. The booking process was very easy and the owner was very accommodating of our late arrival time.
