Description

"Maggie's House" is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in the beautiful Brittany countryside. The local area offers good walking and cycling, the Nantes-Brest canal being only a 15 minute drive away. There are an abundance of stunning medieval towns and villages nearby, including Malestroit, Vannes and Rochefort-en-Terre. Each town has a weekly market offering a wide range of fresh, locally produced food and drink. The south coast of Brittany is about 45 minutes drive and the many seaside towns are a haven for lovers of seafood, including mussels and oysters.

The property is situated on the edge of the village of Treal. A five minute stroll away is the small bar/restaurant/cafe/shop. Fresh bread and pastries are available each morning. It is often better to order the evening before though! A basic provisions section is very useful and the shop also sells fuel. It is open each lunchtime from 12 midday. Also in the village, the nearby farm sells milk, literally
