Description from owner

Description

The Steeple is a luxury Victorian apartment featuring private gardens, outdoor decking area, enclosed patio and on-street parking.

This modern and spacious property has been appointed to a particularly high standard with quality oak furniture, plush sofas and carpets, halogen spotlights and period features – such as high ceilings, a cast iron fireplace and ornate ceiling roses.

Set in a quiet, tree-lined street, in the upmarket Weaponness area, the beach and town centre are just a short walk away. It is also centrally located for the many cafés and bars of Falsgrave and Ramshill – while a convenience store and two real ale pubs are just two minutes' walk away.

It is ideal for couples and small family groups.

“great location”

Reviewed 8 Sep 2018

nice roomy apartment..big bedrooms...parking can get busy, some times have to park a bit away , but its free...steep climb up to the entrance, wouldn't be suitable for the old, or anyone who struggles to climb.. but otherwise fine..would rate this a 3 star..We only used it as a base , as we were golfing everyday...

“The Steeple”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2017

Perfect location for us to visit family. A lovely clean place with everything you could need. Cosy and warm. 10/10! Would definitely stay here again. They had thought of everything and the extra touches didn't go unnoticed. Also great communication from owners. We can only apologise we didn't empty the dishwasher before our departure (we just ran out of time and the cycle wasn't finished). We will be booking again in the future. Thank you!

A very high standard of accommodation. Would highly recommend to friends. I would have no hesitation staying there again.

Owner's reply: Thank you for taking the time to share a review of your experience, we are glad you were happy with The Steeple.

“A great home away from home”

Reviewed 1 Jul 2014

A clean, modern, spacious and cheap apartment is hard to find. But this ticked all those boxes and more. The property is immaculate and was a perfect place to stay. The owner paula went out of her way to make us welcome and was always easy to speak to and added some lovely touches such as ensuring our child had toys for her age. Highly recommended and would certainly stay again

“An excellent place to stay for all ages”

Brilliant accommodation for all! Well equiped property with everything considered. My friend and I spent three nights in this lovely home from home, I have a 1 year old son and my friend has a 2 year old daughter, age appropriate games and toys were provided with and travel cot in one room and plenty of room for my travel cot in the other! We would love to stay again!

Owner's reply: Thanks Hannah for taking the time to review The Steeple. Your kind feedback is much appreciated.

“A Superb Scarborough Stay!”

Reviewed 29 May 2014

The Steeple is a beautiful, well presented, fully equipped apartment ran with professionalism and friendliness by it's owners. The location was excellent - on a nice quiet, residential street on which you could park with ease (and the help of parking discs kindly provided by the owners) - an important factor when self catering in the UK as the inclement weather means you rarely travel light!! Everything that you need for a self catering stay is within a short walking distance e.g. convenience store, mini supermarkets, good fish and chip shop etc and it was also close enough to the main town/sea front action when you wanted it. The apartment itself is one of the nicest and definately the most equipped I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled quite extensively - the owners have thought of every possible scenario and provided you with all that you need and more. They were also on hand if needed during the stay, responding quickly to answer any questions we had and keen to take any feedback on board as it is very apparent that customer service and satisfaction is very important to them. All in all, we feel we found an absolute gem and would definitely stay here again if we return to Scarborough.

“A lovely home from home!”

We were very pleased with the property. It was very well pressented and well equipped. Very clean, warm and homely. Recently refurbished. Would highly recommend. The photos don't do it justice!
