“Move over Center Parcs! This place is perfect!”

Reviewed 17 Apr 2016

We found this lodge whilst scouring the Internet, having been shocked at the school holiday prices of places like Center Parcs! This lodge was really reasonably priced and had a hot tub included and lots of space inside and outside. We were thrilled to find it was even more amazing than the photos! Located in a peaceful quiet area but within ten minutes drive of small towns and within half an hour of bigger towns and attractions, it was perfect for us. The whole family loved the hot tub and went in every day. The lodge was so clean, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. Paul, the owner, was waiting for us with sweets for the children and a bottle of wine for us and made us feel very welcome. The weather was terrible but didn't stop us! Highlights of trip were White Scar Caves, Wild Boar Park, Keighley Steam Train and Haworth village. An amazingly scenic area to be based in. This lodge is very special and we intend to go back in the future.

“Gisburn Forest Lodge”

Reviewed 22 Jun 2015

I am pleased to say that we stayed at the lodge this month and absolutely loved it. We found the cabin and grounds relaxing and comfortable while offering an ideal location for days out cycling or walking. In particular we had a fantastic time at Gisburn Forest MTB tracks (only a cycle ride from the cabin) and then a full day on the hills around Malham Cove, lots of good places to eat out in Settle also. The hot tub was a godsend after the day's activities I must say. Overall we enjoyed our stay and cant recommend the lodge enough, we found it to be very reasonably priced and well maintained, looking forwards to our next visit. John and Lorna

“Wonderful and relaxing!”

Reviewed 4 Jun 2015

A little weekend away Friday-Sunday at the end of May. 4 girls ready for a lovely relaxing catch up and what a perfect place to spend it! Paul the owner was lovely and met us to talk us through all we needed to know. We couldn't believe how ideal it was...quiet and beautiful. The hot tub was a wonderful treat. All the facilities were spot on and we had fun cooking on the range. Plenty of room-including a big couch we all snuggled down on to watch an afternoon film. Highly recommended and we will defiantly be making a return visit.

“Beautiful private lodge in perfect location”

Reviewed 11 Jan 2015

This is without a doubt the best lodge we have stayed in, so private and secluded, but easy access to facilities close by. We all loved the watching the wildlife and feeling of the great outdoors around the property, kids enjoyed exploring the grounds and playing in the meadow, the grown ups enjoyed the hot tub. Lots of attractions nearby, a good base for Yorkshire dales, trough of Bowland and Lake District days out We will definitely return for another holiday The Carter clan : )

What a wonderful time we had at this gorgeous place !! Perfect spot, quiet at one with nature!! The hot tub is very very clean and a perfect touch to the cabin. The owner Paul Was very helpful and left us a bottle of procesco, what a delightful thought. A great place at any time of the year Lots to do and see. We all said we would return and enjoy all over again !! Thanks for sharing Paul.

“A hidden gem”

We went in search of peace and tranquility and we were not dissapointed, so peaceful, the sound of the owl in the evening whilst out in the hot tub and just the sheep and birds in the day, it really is heaven, go prepared most things are a short drive but its worth every minute, We were loving it

“Fantastic place to stay for a great get away”

Reviewed 5 Sep 2014

We stayed here after our wedding at gretna green and called it our mini moon :) The lodge was perfect. It was very clean and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed. The outside decking area and hot tub were fabulous. The owners of the lodge met us when we arrived and gave us a full tour of the lodge explained everything and told us a little bit about the area. If you like mountain biking head over to Gisburn forest that is only a couple of mile away from the lodge. We will defiantly be staying here again soon

“Gorgeous Lodge with Heavenly Hot Tub!”

Reviewed 4 Sep 2014

As a group of four twenty-somethings, my friends and I stayed in Gisburn Forest Lodge in July 2014 and can’t recommend it highly enough. It is located on it’s own plot of land which means you can enjoy the blissful quiet while watching hedgehogs, bats and deer from the comfort of the amazing hot tub! The property was beautifully decorated and was well-stocked with everything we needed. We were given a wonderful warm welcome and the owner was brilliantly helpful throughout the week. The property feels wonderfully isolated but is in fact just a five minute walk from a pub and shop on the local holiday park. The best of both worlds. There are lots of things to do in the local area and we enjoyed trips to Skipton, Settle and the Ingleton Waterfalls. But there was nothing better than getting home every day to your own private hot tub! Highly, highly recommended!
