Casa con Vistas is located in desirable La Siesta, a residential suburb of exclusive villas and apartments. Situated just minutes drive from Torrevieja's long stretch of sandy beaches, a 5 minute bus ride from the town centre and between the two salt lakes of Laguna Salada de la Mata and Laguna Salada de Torrevieja, it is within easy reach of a host of places of interest, including the nearby beautiful national park – Parque del Molino del Agua, the monument of Calle Rodrigo and a number of museums and churches. The salt lakes themselves are protected and form a natural habitat for numerous rare species such as the greater Flamingo and Montagu's harrier.

“Will not return”

Clean apartment,beds uncomfortable, awful smell of a morning from drains, would suit a couple with 2 kids no really room to accommodate 6. Electric kept tripping 2 or3 times a day. Will not be returning.

Thanks for your feedback, it is much appreciated. We have had the plumbing looked at since your stay and are confident any issue with the drains has been resolved. It is a three bed apartment, but as there is only one bathroom it is not suitable for 6 adults, though we do have larger properties suitable for bigger groups. The electricity has now been upgraded by Iberdrola eliminating any issues with it tripping. Again, thanks for the comments, we always welcome feedback whether good or bad so that we can continue improving and upgrading our properties accordingly.

“Satisfactory apartment, met our basic requirements”

Travelled as a couple and 2 adult children with us. Three bedrooms was good and apartment was well equipped but basic and this was reflected in the rental price we paid. Roof terrace was a nice space to relax but too hot to be up there when over 30 degrees. Pool was a good size, clean and not at all busy. Property managers were very helpful, prompt to deal with an issue when we lost wi fi and TV - sorted it within 2 hours. They also met us on arrival and when we left to hand over keys. No information in the apartment about local area, nearest Dr, supermarket etc which we have had in the many other places we have stayed. Bad smell of drains in the apartment on one day which was resolved once we ran a shower in bathroom where the smell came from. Location was 5 km outside of Torrevieja on a large urbanisation which I assume has security issues as all windows and doors were barred. Struggled to open the lock to the gate to get into the property. Some of the local area was shabby with poorly maintained properties but a few were clearly well looked after. A mix of residential and tourists on the estate. Good bus service every 40 mins to Torrevieja for 1 euro 30 each way. We did have a nice stay in this area but would not rush back to this apartment - It was too basic overall for our preferences although as stated this was reflected in the rental price

Many thanks for your review and feedback, we certainly take everything on board, but are not really sure what you mean specifically about being too basic. If there are extra furnishings etc that you feel would enhance the apartment please just let us know, we are always happy and willing to improve it. The area is La Siesta, and is very popular with tourists, but is outwith the town centre as you say, and as is made clear from the advert and map/link provided. There are not security issues, but it's common in and around Torrevieja to have the bars on the windows, just for added security and safety of the residents/guests. We will pass on the comment about the lock and also the drain smell to the property managers and get these looked into.
