This accommodation is set in a quiet community of approximately 20 apartments in a residential area of Montemar Alto. The complex is secure and private with access gained via entry phone and has well maintained mature communal gardens and a pool (unheated). The pool is approximately 15 metres from the apartment's outside terrace area. The apartment is a 10 minute drive from Malaga airport or 15 minutes on the local train which runs from the airport to Montemar Alto station which is 2 minutes walk away.The apartment is centrally located between Torremolinos and Benalmadena with all necessary amenities very close by. A grocery store, pharmacy, hairdresser, bakers, restaurant/bar and the train station are all within a 2 minute walk. There is a large Carrefour supermarket amongst other stores within a small shopping mall about a 5 minute walk away. Historically a traditional fishing village La Carihuela now has one of the best restaurant choices for good value seafood and all within a bustling Spanish atmosphere.The accommodation is on the ground floor and sleeps 4 people. It consists of 1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room and 1 twin bedroom. There is a larger shower room which serves the twin bedroom. There is a large open plan sitting room/dining area/kitchen with a breakfast bar. The dining area opens out onto a decked veranda which creates additional living space. The veranda and adjacent tiled terraced area both look out on to the communal garden.

A stay here would be suited to families and couples; particularly those wanting a restful and peaceful holiday. Whilst close to the amenities described there are no loud bars or discotheques near by, making for a relaxed place to stay.Accessibility: Due to there being approximately 9 steps down from street level to apartment front door this accommodation may not suit those with limited mobility. Inside, the apartment is all on one level with 2 steps down to terrace and communal gardens from the back door. For golfers there are many quality and prestigious golf courses; some ranked the best in Europe.

As well as sunbathing on the beaches of Andalucia's extensive coastline you are a short distance away from all of its inland cities and cultural centres including Seville, Granada and Cordoba where you will find an abundance of flamenco, sherry, museums, vibrant festivals and if it is to your taste the traditional Spanish art of bullfighting.

Torremolinos

There are local markets at Torremolinos and Fuengirola and other attractions including Aqualand Water Park (Torremolinos), Tivoli World Theme Park (Arroyo), Sea-Life Centre (Benalmadena), Crocodile Park (Torremolinos) and Fuengirola Zoo.

Malaga (home to Pablo Picasso) is within driving distance and the city has many museums and churches. Marbella and Puerto Banus with its fabulous yachts and exclusive shops, Gibraltar, Mijas, Rhonda, Nerja and many other towns make the apartment a great base for those wishing to explore the area.

“Fabulous apartment, great location”

We stayed at the apartment in August, 4 adults & 1 child and it was perfect, a great location close to Montemar Station and some lovely local shops. The apartment itself was an ideal size for us especially with its close location to the pool. It had everything we needed and the terrace was a lovely place to sit anytime of the day or evening.

“Fabulous apartment and amenities”

We stayed here in August with our 2 children aged 13 & 7. The apartment was everything we expected and more clean, bright, spacious and had everything you could ever need . The location was brilliant literally a couple of minutes walk from the train station and 10-15 minutes walk from the centre of Torremolinos and La Carihuela. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to holiday in this area, we loved it so much we have booked again for next year. The owner Diane was so helpful and quick in answering any questions we had and from booking to arriving at the apartment it was made very easy and stress free. Many thanks again for letting us stay in your fabulous apartment and we can't wait to return.
