The property comprises of:

- One master bedroom with a King size bed
- One twin-bedded room with views to the communal gardens and pool area.
- Both bedrooms have spacious built-in wardrobes and very efficient and quiet ceiling fans.
- Spanish style bathroom with bidet and vanity handbasin.

Downstairs area with:

- Fully equipped kitchen with granite worktop and plenty of storage space.
- Open-plan lounge and dining room with understaris cupboard.
- Additional toilet and shower room.
- South-facing front sun terrace and back patio with utility room and direct access to the pool area.

A £150 deposit is required upon booking, with the balance payable 8 weeks prior to departure. A further returnable £100 security deposit is required to cover any damage. This will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the house. All rates quoted include water, electricity, bed linen, hand towels and bath towels.

The location of Torre de la Horadada (or “Torre” for short), where Costa Blanca and Costa Calida converge, makes this beautiful village the perfect place to relax and explore some of Spain's finest beaches and historic places. Although many of our renters prefer to go without a car during their stay, for those who like to explore further afield car rental prices in the area are very competitive. Some of the amenities you'll find within a short drive (5 to 30 minutes) from Torre include at least 5 golf courses such as La Manga Club, a Thalasotherapy Centre, health Spas and the therapeutic mud baths of San Pedro.

Torre de la Horadada

As well as offering a fantastic environment for chilling out with family and friends, Torre is close to the historic cities of Alicante, Murcia, Elche and Cartagena. There are plenty of historic places to visit, such as Murcia Cathedral and the Roman ruins of Cartagena . The town of Elche, famous for its shoe industry and Europe's largest palm tree collection (Huerto del Cura) is only 30 minutes away.

“Perfect position but poorly equipped”

We stayed for 9 wks over Feb-April. This is a decent size house but it is poorly equipped. We had a problem with sat tv. The owners communication was good but we had to liase with the sat company ourselves. The house itsellf is in a perferct position, opposite park, 10 mins walk to beach, 5mins walk to supermarket and bar. It's a shame really because all it needs is some TLC and a few home comforts. It needs some maintenance and updating.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for your feedback. It would have been helpful if you'd stated what specifically needs updating and what extras bits would be desirable. I've taken the liberty to reproduce the e-mails we exchanged about the TV viewing card, which shows our good faith and the fact that you agreed to collect the new one from Pilar, which is only 5 minutes away. Hi John. We will go to Pilar tomorrow and see if we can change the card. Do they speak English and will they change the card fur us. “Excellent value for money”

Accommodation was clean, good size and had everything we needed. Kids loved the communal pool at the back which again was always clean and tidy. Shops and restaurants were close by. Overall, very impressed. excellent value for money and much better than we expected. Bedrooms got quite hot at night times though even with the ceiling fans.

“The most relaxing holiday .....”

My boyfriend and I visited Torre de la Horadada in late September. The weather was still beautifully hot - we could go out at night in our shorts and t-shirts. The apartment was lovely - everything was in good working condition and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was very workable and the fridge was really big. The communal pool was really nice - at this time of year we mostly had it to ourselves and spent a few days just by the pool with a nice drink a good book (which I borrowed from the bookshelf in the apartment). The local area was lovely - the locals were friendly, the bars and restaurants were really nice and the beach was really scenic. Although, not a big fan of English bars abroad, the one in Torre de la horadada was brilliant, the food was really delicious and homeamde and the staff were really friendly. There was a also a really good Indian restaurant amount a ten minute walk away located on one of the busiest roads - it was the best Indian food I have ever tried. If you like your food, drink and relaxing atmosphere this is definitely the place to go! On the downside it could seem a bit deserted at time (although I think it was more busy during June and July).
