Description

A charming cosy mews cottage set in the exclusive area of Wellswood in Torquay. A short picturesque walk to the beach and the vibrant town centre . Although tucked away from the main street, you are only a 30 second walk away from the local pub (fantastic menu), restaurant, patisserie, health spa, and Co-op for all those essentials! The main bedroom has a cosy double bed with the second room having bunk beds. The cottage has full central heating. For in-house entertainment we have a flat screen TV and Blu-ray DVD player. We have a selection of DVDs, CDs and books meaning there is always something to do even if the weather's against you. There is also the use of FREE WIFI. There is a washing machine, microwave, toaster, hairdryer, hair straighteners and a coded security safe for your valuables (all of which are free of charge). All services are included with high quality linen and towels provided, and a few complementary surprises.

We've stayed at various holiday lets within the wellswood area over the years and this is by far the best for value,location and comfort. We had a lovely stay. The cottage has everything you need and was perfect for us. Parking was never an issue and no problem unloading and loading. Lovely Neighbours even came out to say goodbye when we left. It's so good we've already booked for next year!!

We stayed here for 4 nights beautiful cottage very clean. Loved the little extras that were left for us. Beds really comfy . Really peaceful location. Every thing you need is on the doorstep lots of things to do and only a short drive away. We had heard really good things about the Kent's pub but unfortunately we couldn't get booked in for food. We definitely stay here again it really is a little gem

“Quaint little cottage in good location”

Cottage was very clean and decor of good standard. Beds were very comfortable, but negative was not enough comfy seating downstairs for family of 4. Would recommend another 2 seater and a space saving table and chairs as when having breakfast etc it was uncomfortable and difficult. Also main bedroom smelt and felt damp and there was evidence of damp in far wall corner/ceiling by window, which affected my chest/breathing. Apart from that cottage is in good location and ideal for short stays and nice touch that James left a lovely welcome pack of bread, organic butter, jams and milk which was appreciated.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send JAMES (the owner) a message.

If JAMES (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
