Description

Warberry View is bright and welcoming apartment which forms part of a Victorian villa known as Cumbernauld which situated in a popular leafy district of Torquay. It is a first floor apartment, accessed through the communal hallway, it has 2 bedrooms - the master benefiting from panoramic views across the surrounding area known as the Warberries. The sunny lounge/diner boasts a shabby chic – beachy feel, making it the perfect seaside retreat.

The apartment is conveniently located close to many local amenities and just a 3 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk in to the heart of Torquay, with its picturesque harbour, restaurants, sandy beach and an abundance of tourist attractions.

Locally, Wellswood village is a short walk away with shops, cafes and the popular Kents pub. The blue flag awarded Meadfoot beach is a less than a mile away and easily accessed by car or on foot.

“Will book again”

Warberry View is a fantastic apartment in a nice quiet location. It is a 15 minute brisk walk to the harbour area of Torquay and about 1.75 miles from Babbacombe. Meadfoot beach is also only 10-15 minutes away as well which then gives access to the coastal path. If you enjoy walking this is an deal location but be aware it is very hilly! The apartment itself was spotless and really well equipped and there was even a fresh pint of milk in the fridge for us on arrival. Will definitely book here again.

What a cutie of a flat! Cosy,clean, well equipped & welcoming. Quiet & away from hustle & bustle, a quick bus journey took you to the city centre. Cream tea on arrival is a welcome treat after travelling. Lots to do & see in Torquay & the surrounding towns and villages, you will not be disappointed. Had minor queries which were dealt with Straightaway by the lovely owners. ONLY downside was the bed was very uncomfortable.

I am pleased to say we have now upgraded the mattress with a luxury topper - we bought a new mattress earlier in the year following a guest review but in hindsight it was probably a little on the hard side so the new topper will hopefully ensure a comfortable night sleep! How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Katie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
