Getting around

A car is vital. Everything is within reach (the village only 4km) but it makes exploring this fabulous region easy and relaxing if you can just hop in the car and go!

Interaction with guest

I have my own house on site. So I (or my lovely house sitters) will be on hand to greet you.... There's a welcome basket and if you would like us to do a shop before you arrive, just ask. We open and close the pool daily for you, keep you up to date with what's happening in the area - just check out the blackboard for each day's weather, markets & more. If you don't need us, that's fine - we have our own pool tucked away behind our house, so you can enjoy complete privacy with the comfort of knowing that we are on hand should you need us!

Owner's reply: Thank you for your review - I am sorry that the mattress was not suitable for your husband - I did see that you had bought a topper for the mattress (not a mattress) and hope that helped him to be more comfortable. As to the house - I was pleased, when you arrived, that you were so happy with the house. I was there for the first few days of your stay and you let me know that everything was as it should be. As you were there for two months, perhaps over that time the level of cleanliness dropped - we would be happy to organise a regular cleaner for future visits. As a Sawdays recommended property we have very high standards of decor, furnishings, etc and we make sure the the house is regularly updated to provide beautiful, comfortable accommodation for all our guests. I am sorry that you felt it was not to your liking after all.
