The apartment is in a fantastic location, in a quiet area just off the Tomb of the Kings road near the Lighthouse in Paphos. This offers access to all local amenities (supermarkets, bars, restaurants, shops) whilst also being secluded. The Blue Flag Lighthouse beach is just 250 yards down the road, and the apartment has a sea-view. For non beach lovers, the apartment has a swimming pool and plenty of sunbeds to take advantage of the sunny Cyprus weather.

Situated on the ground floor, and with additional access via a ramp, the apartment is ideal for families or those with walking difficulties. Built in 2008, the apartment and furnishings are of the highest standard and all requirements have been catered for. Our family also owns the 2-bedroomed apartment next-door, and we are also in contact with the owners of a similar 2-bedroomed ground floor apartment - so please contact us if you would like information for larger parties - ideal for those coming to Cyprus for a family wedding!

The apartment has a flat screen TV and DVD player, together with other features such as iPOD docking stations in each bedroom to give the apartment that touch of luxury. NEW FOR 2014 - for a small additional charge we can switch on broadband, which enables a list of English TV channels and/or wi-fi so you can use laptops, smartphones, tablets and other internet-enabled devices.

Our guests have described the apartment as a real "home from home" and one recently said "how can you improve on perfection?"

Included in the rental price is full air-conditioning (which can also be used for heating during the winter months if required). There are also ultra-quiet ceiling fans in the living area and both bedrooms for those who prefer a gentle breeze.

The living area has two 3-seater quality chocolate-brown leather sofas, one of which pulls out to form a sofa-bed. There is a flat-screen wall-mounted LCD TV and a DVD player (which also plays CDs), as well as plenty of DVDs (including childrens' movies and TV shows) to choose from. A matching sideboard, coffee table and dining table with six chairs complete the luxury feel of the living/dining area.

The kitchen has black granite worktops with white cupboards, and an electric oven and hob, with large fridge/freezer and microwave. The cupboards are fully stocked with everything you will need, including pots, pans, crockery, children's cutlery and place settings.

The two bedrooms (one double, one twin) both have built-in wardrobes and vanity units with plenty of storage space for your belongings. The vanity units have an overhead light, a large mirror and a plug socket - and no need for adaptors, Cyprus has the same electricity current as the UK, complete with 3-pin plugs.

The twin bedroom wardrobe also contains an electronic safe for peace of mind. Both rooms have hairdryers and are also complete with radio alarm clocks with iPod docks, which will charge your iPod or MP3 player in addition to playing your music.

The bathroom has a shower over the bath, with a frosted shower screen, and is complete with a sink vanity unit and WC. The shower and taps are Grohe fittings.

To save on luggage allowance, the apartment also contains a hairdryer, straighteners, beach towels, beach mats and assorted pool inflatables, buckets and spades. A high chair and a travel cot can also be arranged for a small additional charge - please contact us for details. NEW - we also have lots of baby and toddler equipment, including a steriliser, changing mat, weaning equipment, potty and step, bed guard and lots more! For the winter months we have a de-humidifier to help combat the damp air often found in Cyprus' concrete-built apartments - this also helps to heat the apartment if needed.

Finally, as the apartment was only built in 2008, it utilises the new drainage system in Cyprus, which means you can flush paper down the toilet! Great news for those who have experienced the notoriously dodgy plumbing in many Cypriot and Greek resorts!

The patio doors from the living area open onto a private terrace with gated access to the swimming pool area. - and is therefore safe for young children. The terrace has a sea-view and is complete with patio furniture (table and chairs) to enable al-fresco eating.

The swimming pool has a landscaped surround with shower area and plenty of free sunbeds to use - we also have two comfortable sunbeds for the use of our guests only.

The apartment has secure car parking (with remote control provided for the entrance gate) for those wishing to hire a car - although a car is not necessary due to the great location of the apartment.

The Paphos District

There are many reasons to visit Paphos - many people return year after year to sample the hospitality, the beautiful weather, the gorgeous food, the abundant fruit and the local wines and spirits.

For the first-time visitor, life is made easier by the fact that:

* Driving in Cyprus is on the left - so car hire need not be daunting

There are so many attractions on Cyprus that appeal to young and old - and Paphos is an ideal base from which to start exploring!

The Paphos area enjoys 340 days of sunshine per year, and has many attractions including Golfing, Hiking, Pony Trekking, Jeep Safaris, Watersports, Go-Karting, Boat Trips, Fishing, Mountain Biking - and even Skiing and Snowboarding on the Troodos Mountains between January and March!

Tomb of the Kings

The apartment is situated on a quiet road just off the main Tomb of the Kings Road in Kato Paphos, and is therefore within a couple of minutes walk of all amenities, including:

* Bakery and Doughnut Shop

* Shops

* 24-Hour Supermarket

* Internet Cafe

* Pharmacy and Doctors

The main harbour in Paphos is a 20 minute walk on the new walkway around the headland by the lighthouse, or a 15 minute walk along the road. This is where the castle is situated, together with many restaurants specialising in fresh local fish dishes. This is also where to get a boat for one of the many day trips which depart from the harbour. The Kato Paphos Archaeological Park is close to the harbour, with excavations uncovering many beautiful mosaics - well worth a visit.

The famous Tombs of the Kings excavation is only 15 minutes walk and the lively Bar Street area is also a 15 minute walk away from the apartment.

For families of all ages, the Aphrodite Water Park in Paphos is very good value and is a short bus or car ride away. Free transfers are available - get the number 11 or 15 bus, keep your bus tickets and get a refund at the entrance!

Another good family attraction is the Paphos Aquarium, located in the town centre - and if you need respite from the hot sun, there is also a bowling alley only 5 minutes walk away.

For beach lovers, Coral Bay is only a few minutes drive (or a short bus ride) away, and there are many other fabulous beaches within easy driving distance. And of course, there is a Blue Flag beach just 250 yards down the lane from the apartment!

Golfing facilities in Paphos are excellent, with three international standard courses within easy driving distance.

The apartment is also ideally located for friends and families attending weddings in Cyprus - especially as the two similar apartments can be booked at the same time (subject to availability), accommodating a total of up to 18 people in the same small complex - please contact us for more details.

would highly recommend this apartment,well presented,clean,every thing you need on the door step.Would book again,downside is now no Sky on the Island,summer you wouldn't need a tele but winter yes as not a lot open at night bit boring watching dvd's all the time.

The apartment was everything we expected and more! It has the best location, overlooking the family friendly pool - ideal to sunbathe and keep an eye on the children, lovely views. Inside it was laid out beautifully with attention to detail in all areas and very child friendly. It is located in a very popular area with the award winning beach just 5 minutes down the road, the main Tomb of the Kings Road just 2 minutes walk away with shops, bars and restaurants galore! This being said, it was not spoilt by any noise from traffic!! I travelled with children and adults and we all agreed - you could'nt stay anywhere better, that has it all !

The apartment is very well equipped, clean and is well furnished, having beach towels supplied certainly saved on space in the cases. The location of the property is really good, the beach is a very short walk away and the bus stop is at the top of the road with a very good bus service. The views from the apartment are fantastic.

Nice clean apartment, with friendly, helpful apartment owner. Within very short walking distance to numerous restaurants and pubs. Bus stop about 50 meters from the front door that takes you to the beach at Coral Bay, about a 15 minute ride. Close to the Sea with a nice walkway for walks along the sea. 20 minute walk along the sea to the harbor. The kids really enjoyed the pool right outside the patio, and tanning on the provided pool furniture. Extremely relaxing vacation for older couples or families with children. The pubs nearby also catered to a slightly older crowd, which is what we were looking for. Just down the road at the fish and chips restaurant you can get an English breakfast for only 2.60. That's cheaper than if we cooked our own breakfast. We will definitely be back to Cyprus again. Thanks for all the help Sue.

All things to all people, location perfect near bars shops etc but still quiet at this time of year . Bus stop at top of road so car not needed. You can walk into Paphos harbour along coastal path. Excellent furnishings felt like you were at home. You can visit most attractions in the Paphos area without too much hassle or you can sit chill out and watch the sunsets from the patio.

Had a fantastic time. The apartment was very clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped, a real home from home. Positioned well for restaurants, bars and local beach also a lovely view of the lighthouse. The pool was a real lifesaver after a day out and the air conditioning was invaluable. The sunsets were incredible. I would recommend anyone to hire a car and get out and about on the island. The Troodos mountains were beautiful as were the little villages. The historical sites were fascinating but go early as it gets too hot by lunch time. We had never been to Cyprus before and so didn't know what to expect foodwise. We needn't have worried, it was great as proved by our expanded waistlines, even our 12 year old son, who is a very fussy eater, ate better than at home. We will definitely be back next year.

Very well situated for shops and restaurants on Tomb of kings road, handy recommendation book in villa. Close to beach area, the beach is wide and lovely and sandy however the sea here is very rocky and slippy and sharp underfoot resulting in two bloody incidences of cut knee and sole of foot on first visit. Catch the bus at the top of the road, and for a 2 euro daytripper ticket travel down to Coral bay beach instead. The sea here is sandy underfoot and much more enjoyable. It is busier though. Take your own sandwiches as the beachbar only does limited fast food at high prices. Take the bus the other way down to the harbour for more restaurants and shops. You can walk this, but in July heat we found it too hot. The bus ticket lasts all day so you can hop on and off all day. Ask for the daytripper ticket tho', as a return ticket to anywhere costs 2 euro too! The apartment is very well equipped even down to blow up toys for the pool and provided beach towels saves so much space in your luggage. Plenty of space in the villa and above average standard of furnishings and fittings than package holiday accommodation. Fantastic view from the veranda across to the lighthouse and the sea to watch beautiful sunsets. The fortnight we were there the children had the pool to themselves. The pool was cleaned very regularly and even topped up, which delighted the children having a blast of cold water hosed into the pool! The apartment area is very safe and private. There is no noise from bars or people, however because of it's proximity to Tomb of the Kings Road the traffic, particularly sirens, can sometimes disturb the peace. All in all though a great location, great apartment so we had a great holiday.

The Apartment was excellent, very clean and very well equipped, convenient for shop and restaurants, and all other amenities. There is an excellent bus service at the end of the road, which will take you to the harbour, or coral bay beach or into Paphos town. There is a great beach 5 mins walk from the apartment, and the coastal walk is highly recommended. We had a great time for the 6 weeks we were there, and have already booked for next year.

What a fabulous apartment in a perfect spot!! An extremely comfortable and clean apartment with great views of sunsets over the sea and Pafos Lighthouse. Five minutes from a lovely beach with bar and facilities set on a great coastal path ideal for an early morning or evening stroll into Pafos Town. Set just off Tomb of the Kings Road it has plenty of restaurants and shops for every cuisine and daily necessities. The weather was fantastic and it was just a perfect time!!!!!!!!!
