Description

Comfortable, 1400 square foot, 3 bedroom cottage located on a quiet dead end road at the tip of the Bruce on the dividing line between Georgian Bay and Lake Huron. This cottage is just 9 km from the village of Tobermory and all the activities it has to offer.

The outside of this cottage has three great decks, with two on the lake side. The upper deck attached to the cottage has a patio table and six chairs for your dining enjoyment. Also on this deck is a Propane BBQ. This a great place to enjoy the nightly sunset that sets directly in front of the cottage during July - August. A shortwalk towards the lake leads to a lakeside deck - this deck has two Muskoka chairs and a great view of the lake. A set of cement steps leads you to the lake where the shoreline is a mixture of flat rock and some rubble. Entry into the lake is gradual to start but gets deep with great swimming.

Also by the lake is a fire pit with which you can enjoy roasting marshmallows while watching the clear

A set of cement steps leads you to the lake where the shoreline is a mixture of flat rock and some rubble. Entry into the lake is gradual to start but gets deep with great swimming.

Also by the lake is a fire pit with which you can enjoy roasting marshmallows while watching the clear starry skies of the Bruce.

The cottage comes equipped with two sit in kayak's. This is a great way to explore the nooks and crannies of the surrounding Georgian Bay shoreline. Bring your snorkeling gear and check out the cool rocks and underwater world. On the road side of the cottage is the morning deck. This deck is protected from the winds off the lake and enjoys morning sunshine. This deck is accessed off of the large Master Bedroom. Inside of the cottage is a gas fireplace, which is a great place to enjoy a romantic evening on the cool spring and fall days. The living room has cedar paneling and carpet on the floor. It is furnished with a couch and two chairs. For entertainment there is a 37" TV with DVD Player and wireless internet access.

Adjacent to the living room is the dining area with wood table and six chairs and an outstanding view of the lake. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave oven and plenty of cupboard and counter space.

There are three bedrooms at the cottage - two with a queen bed, one with two sets of single bunkbeds. There are two bathroom's at the cottage, a four-piece with tub/shower, and an ensuite to the master also with a four piece tub/shower combo. Tobermory is short distance away (9 km) on a paved road. There you can stroll through the shops in the village, visit the restaurants and the library and enjoy the beautiful natural harbour. You can also take a scenic boat cruise where you can view shipwrecks, lighthouses and visit Flowerpot Island. Also, dinner cruises aboard the Chi-Cheemaun are very popular. The sandy shores of Singing Sands Beach are just a short drive away (13 km) and provides a perfect place for the kids to play and swim.
