A door beside the dining area leads out to a 450 square foot wooden deck where a patio table and chairs are arranged for your outdoor eating enjoyment.. This deck has a beautiful view of the lake and is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning.

The cottage kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven and microwave, for your convenience during your summer holidays.

There are two bedrooms at the cottage. The first has a queen sized bed and the other has a double. For additional sleeping space when required, the couch in the living area pulls out into a double sofa bed.

The bathroom is located off the main living area and is a three piece with shower, sink and toilet.

The cottage is located at the end of a dead-end road, and has only one neighbour, who is located approximately 70 feet away. On the other side is a large natural pond where kids can have fun exploring wildlife such as frogs, blue herons and ducks.

A stone path leads from the cottage to the beach. Beside the lake, at the edge of the tree line, is a 200 square foot deck with an unobstructed view of Lake Huron and a small man-made sand beach. This is a great place to watch our world-famous sunsets, or to watch the kids play at the waters edge.

The flat rock shoreline permits an easy, gradual entry into the water. Sometimes the rocks can be slippery, so swim shoes are recommended.

The village of Tobermory is only a short drive away. There you will find a grocery store, liquor store, a variety of restaurants, and lots of interesting little stores where you can go shopping. Have a picnic lunch at the Big Tub Harbour lighthouse. Take a boat tour to view the shipwrecks in Fathom Five National Marine Park; take a boat ride to to go hiking on Flower Pot Island ; or simply spend a relaxing day at the beach.

Additional amenities include: coffee maker, tea pot, high speed lite, pillows, dishes, kayak (2), pots and pans, fire pit, wireless - unlimited, cutlery, radio / tape deck, cd player, cleaning supplies, vacuum, television (27"), (some) life jackets, blankets, refrigerator freezer.
