“Cosy relaxing long birthday weekend away!”

Reviewed 4 Dec 2016

The lodge was amazing with the fire place and hot tub making our stay extra special. We had a very relaxing long weekend and was perfect for a mini getaway. The only down side would be the location, a car is recommended as local cabs are quite unreliable if you want to go anywhere. Would also recommend to get groceries on the way there if haven't already arranged for this. Nevertheless would love to go back!

“Perfect setting, gorgeous lodge.”

Reviewed 22 Oct 2016

Such a lovely lodge, and the location is perfect to get away from it all. Nicely positioned to visit lots of surrounding towns, Exeter especially was a lovely place to visit. Everything you need is in the lodge ready, and it is decorated beautifully. Can't wait to go back for a chill in the hot tub.

“Wonderful”

Reviewed 10 Oct 2016

The accommodation was beautiful, clean and well equipped The owners couldn't have done more to welcome us, arrived with flowers and pudding on the first night. We loved the peace and the hot tub, the water replaced and cleaned before our arrival. The position was close to the Great Western Canal, could have walked from the lodge. Knightslayes National Trust Property one of the best we'd visited. Will come back
