Description from owner
The cottage is Grade II listed and we believe date backs to the 17th Century. It is well presented having undergone extensive refurbishment and is full of original features including exposed beams, open fireplace and latch doors. Tuckingmill Farm has a fantastic location in the small hamlet of Tuckingmill which is within a few minutes walk or drive of Tisbury with its shops, cafes and train station with direct line to London Waterloo (aprox. 1h 47m) and other facilities. The surrounding countryside is delightful, forming part of the West Wiltshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

- Very Good
“Lovely stay in a beautiful home.”
We had a fabulous time at Tuckingmill Farm. Good facilities, clean, stylish and within easy walking distance of Tisbury. It has lovely spacious bedrooms and great character downstairs. We felt like we were house guests rather than renting a cottage as it is so comfortable and homely. It was nice to find beautiful dog-friendly accommodation. The outside eating area is a great sun trap and we were able to enjoy it with the lovely weather. Highly recommended and we would stay again.
Owner's reply: Thank you Louise, it was a pleasure having you to stay. Hope to see you again.
“Lovely, well presented cottage”
We booked the cottage for two nights for my brothers wedding for me,my girlfriend and four of are friends, and it was everything we expected and more, the pictures don't really do it justice, the rooms are a lot bigger than I thought they would be and the house had everything you could need and more, the two TVS where a bonus when us boys wanted to watch the gp on the Sunday lol, lovely cottage in a lovely little village would recommend to anyone going to Tisbury, thanks for having us.
Owner's reply: Hi Ethan, thanks for the glowing review. We're glad to have over delivered and glad that you enjoyed it.
“great cottage for girls' catch up”
We had a great time in the cottage. Close enough to walk into Tisbury and its shops, train station and surrounding countryside. All facilities in the cottage are really good and parking for 3 small cars. Back garden is secure and a sun trap. Lovely Pimms in the Bennett Arms (had a pop up pizza stand on Friday night), local co-op well stocked. Train to Salisbury. Lovely surrounding countryside and English villages. Easy walk to Old Wardour Castle. Great evening meal in Compasses Inn at Chicksgrove. Happily stay again.
Owner's reply: Thank you for your five stars Karen. Tisbury has so much to offer. It has been a pleasure dealing with you.
“Lovely, cosy cottage”
We have just returned from a lovely stay at tuckingmill cottage. The house is cosy, well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the rooms are a good size. The cottage has under floor heating, a log burner and good heating so it's never cold. The location is good, just a short walk to the village which has all the things you need including a great deli, wine shop, tearoom and a co-op. Other popping to the local shops by foot, we tended to drive out. Salisbury is well worth a visit and I could highly recommend The Angel Inn for good value quality food which is about a ten minute drive away. Lovely part of the country. Would recommend.
Owner's reply: Hi Anna, thank you for the lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you again. Regards, Georgie
“Gorgeous house, well stocked. Perfect for our weekend with friends. Will definitely return.”
Myself and friends stayed at Tuckingmill Farm for a local wedding. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished, retaining the charm you expect when booking. The owner has been lovely and approachable throughout and cannot be faulted in any way. Also the location is beautiful, with our household hoping to move to the area one day! I cannot reccomend this property more. If it's available, definitely worth the stay at the price, which is more than reasonable.
Owner's reply: Dear Guy, Thank you so much for your glowing review. We love the area and do think the cottage is special. We hope to welcome you as a guest on neighbour in the future. Georgie
