“Relaxing lodge stay”

Excellent relaxing lodge with hot tub. Ideal if u want to do nothing! Beautiful view but nothing within walking distance

Owner's reply: Thank you for review, yes we are lucky enough to be surrounded by woodlands and so we are the ideal place if you are looking for some peace and quiet. A beautiful dog friendly secluded beach (on the shores of Loch Fyne) is a ten minute walk away from the lodge and there are also a number of good places to eat and drink just a short 10-15 minute drive away, so we are well-placed for a more active weekend if you choose. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you again in the future.

“Weekend away”

Weekend away with friends and 2 dogs. Lovely walks and lovely hotel in Tighnabruaich with great lively music. Facilities in lodge great ie toilet rolls, washing up liquid and bottled water. The only disappointment was did not realise we had to be out the hot tub by 11pm but still a great weekend regardless of the weather

“Excellent value”

Just returned home today having spent 5 days at the lodge. Perfect location to relax and recharge. Will definitely be going back. My 8 year old loved the outdoor space and hot tub. The owners provided everything we needed for our stay. Nothing was to much trouble. I got bad sunburn and Alison went and got me after sun. Highly recommend

Owner's reply: Thank you very much.

Lovely weekend away. We had a great time, everything as described. Remote and relaxing, perfect for what we were looking for.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much.

“Yet another fablous stay”

Reviewed 26 Mar 2018

This is our second visit to the lodge and again we had a fantastic stay. Comfortable, well equipped lodge in a secluded setting, ideal for getting away from it all. However a short drive to Portavadie if you fancy a spa. Owners are friendly and approachable should you have any queries. Hoping to visit again before the end of the year.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much again.

“Short break”

Beautiful lodge, well equipped and cosy. Hot tub fantastic with generous decking area which was fantastic for our dogs. Idyllic setting surrounded by countryside. Only here for 2 nights , we came with plenty of supplies so never ventured from our lodge other than a long walk on the Saturday. Just what we were looking for a relaxing few days away from home. Would thoroughly recommend

Owner's reply: Thank you very much.

“Fantastic quiet retreat for three overworked young women!!”

Reviewed 29 Jan 2018

Melldalloch was great. Lovely cabin that was much more spacious than anticipated. Great seating and dining area to chill out in. Cosy and warm with plenty of facilities for cooking. Hot tub was an awesome feature and well used. Hot tub did feel fairly private despite being on the decking overlooking other Lodges. Didn’t ever feel over looked. It’s quite a remote area and definitely requiring a car. Car parking available. Some muddy areas around the cabin which is to be expected in winter. Lovely walk down to the beach. Our host was very welcoming and explaining use of facilities and the surrounding areas. We just had a lovely time chilling hidden away in this cabin.

Owner's reply: Thank you very much.

Very clean lodge bigger than expected very nice people very helpful, beautiful part of Scotland lots of places to visit and the beach and the views were to die for, very accomadating as we have 3 very large dogs and most places won't let them on site,, will be back.

Owner's reply: Thank you for staying with us.

“Great find”

Reviewed 15 May 2017

I don't normally write reviews on here but would feel bad for not saying what an amazing weekend we just enjoyed here. Group of 5 adults and a Border Collie and it was just perfect for us. The chalet was bigger than expected, very clean and the kitchen well equipped. The owners are very nice, and always on hand if needed. The hot tub was great too! The area itself is a stunning part of the country. Will definitely be booking again, already looking forward to our next visit. Honestly can't think of a single complaint for the whole weekend... Except the weather?

Owner's reply: Thank you for staying with us.
