This extremely spacious luxury chalet (193 sq m) is ideally situated in the centre of the small village of Les Collons which links into the fabulous Swiss 4 Valleys ski circuit of Verbier. It boasts a stunning location with uninterrupted mountain views spanning the beautiful Herens Valley from Sion all the way to the mighty Matterhorn. All the shops, bars and restaurants of the village are right on your doorstep and in winter the pistes and ski lifts are just a couple of minutes' walk away. The chalet can accommodate up to 12 guests and is perfect for families and groups of friends travelling together.
Recently built to a very high standard and with traditional pine wood décor throughout, the chalet is arranged over 3 floors, comprising a lower ground floor with 2 double bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room. The ground floor has a roomy ski storage area, a very well-equipped kitchen and an airy open- plan living room leading onto a wide wrap-round terrace which takes full advantage of the sunshine. There is also a bathroom and a room with a sauna, bath and separate shower plus adjoining sleeping area with a large double sofa bed. The first floor has another bathroom and 2 further twin bedrooms, one with full-size bunk beds plus a master bedroom and a balcony with amazing, panoramic views. There is space for 2 cars in secure garage parking. Stair gates are available and 2 cots and a high chair can be provided for young families.

Getting around

There is a ski bus (free) stop across the main street which will take beginners and non skiers to the ski slopes. Access by road to the chalet is easy as it is situated just off the main street in the village which is cleared of snow on a daily basis during the winter months. There are no steep slopes to negotiate. There is a local taxi service up to Les Collons from Sion in the valley and there are regular daily Post bus services too.

“Cozy chalet with magnificent view, cozy fireplace and relaxing sauna”

The cozy chalet ”Etoile Polaire” exceeded our expectations. The chalet is marvelously located in the village center and near the ski slopes. It is lovely furnished and provides a breathtaking view on the popular mountain landscape of the region "les quatre Vallées". As an ideal starting point and home base for tours and undertakings for active people and sports enthusiasts it enables easy access to activities like cross country as well as alpine skiing, snowshoeing, beautiful snow hikes, husky-sledding, etc. The comfortably equipped sauna area as well as the cozy indoor-fireplace is just perfect to relax from an exciting day We are sad leaving this beautiful place after a week but take only best memories with us. Thank you for the pleasant hosting!

“Superb Ski Location”

Our family has recently returned from a great half term ski week. The chalet has plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and 4 children and is very well equipped. We came with prepared meals for the family and enjoyed use of the not to be missed Swiss Raclette cookers for the annual cheese meal. This year saw almost record snow falls so skiing for the family was excellent and grandchildren were very pleased with the Thyon ski school. The chalet is very conveniently located near the High Street and grandchildren and their parents were easily able to walk to the chair lift whilst grandparents made use of the improved free ski bus service from Les Collons to the Thyon 2000 resort and ski runs. This was another great ski week and this chalet is highly recommended by our family.

Small and attractive village in the mountains with the best views and they chalet has probably the best location in Les Collins, close to all amenities and with easy access and uninterrupted views. Plenty of hostileries from pizza to find dining. Great walks from easy to a bit of a climb.The chalet is very well appointed, spotless throughout and with a great little sauna which we used. We would definitely return.

“Beautiful chalet fantastic views”

We have just spent Christmas in this chalet and had a wonderful time, lots of room for 8 of us.. We used the catering service for a couple of nights which was really good aswell.. The children loved the wooden bath and all four of them Went in every night! The skiing is amazing and not busy atall.. We did take quite a bit of food ourselves as the supermarket is expensive .. We got the train from Geneva and then a short taxi ride so it was so relaxing and easy..
