The Cornwall region
Cornwall is sub tropical, being warmed by the gulfstream, has a temperate climate and is an ideal holiday destination as the region has so much to offer and caters for all tastes. The coastline is ideal for Surfing/ Bodyboarding and International competitions are held every year. There is also exceptional sailing around the coastline and in particular The Carrick Roads and Falmouth, which is the fifth largest natural harbour in the world and has become a destination for several cruise lines now visiting the port. For those who wish to tour and explore, there is so much to see, from the major Cornish resorts, the breathtaking rugged coastline and splendid little coves and the many harbours and beaches to the soft rolling countryside of the Roseland Peninsular. We are blessed with so many fine dining establishments, From Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant and Bistro in Padstow, to Jamie Olivers Fifteen Restaurant at Waterside Bay. to say nothing of all the numerous other restaurants, and pubs and in particular in Truro where there are many choices of restaurants and eateries it is hard to choose, so handy from Chynoweth, and of course our famous Cornish Pasties and Clotted cream teas absolute indulgence. There is also a very cultural side to Cornwall and many festivals,Performing Arts, Festivals, and Galleries to see and visit and superb Theatre performances at "The Hall for Cornwall" in Truro and the amazing and beautiful outdoor theatre "The Minnack Theatre" at Porthcurno. One thing is certain, there is always something for everyone to see and do on holiday in Cornwall.
Threemilestone as the name implies is located three miles from the city of Truro and is a peaceful village, surrounded by countryside and well serviced by excellent road and regular transport links to Truro, Redruth, Camborne Hayle, St Ives, Penzance. The shops in the village are located within easy walking distance, some 250 yards from Chynoweth. there are takeaways and a leisure centre some five to ten minutes walk away and all in all Threemilestone has everything to offer to cater for all your needs.

"absolutely fabulous holiday let"
We stayed at Chenoweth the first week in july. 2013 We have only been to Cornwall on one other occasion. This holiday let is where we will choose in future. It is so comfortable, lovely bedroom with comfortable bed and a nice living room/diner; it has everything you could wish for. It is in a village that has everything you could require, a pub with lovely food, a supermarket should you wish to cater for yourself, and even take away food. It is close enough to the A30 to reach any part of Cornwall you wish to see, Chenoweth has that 'homely' feeling, a beautiful garden and a lovely barbecue, should you wish to cook 'alfresco'. The town of Truro is not far, but far enough away not to bother your stay. Chenoweth, a lovely place to stay.
Thank you for your kind comments. We are so pleased that you found everything at Chynoweth to your complete satisfaction and that you enjoyed your stay here and your holiday in Cornwall. Anthony Radcliffe
