For a more restful break the area is ideal for bird watching, fishing or walking in the country. There are footpaths nearby into Thetford Forest and guests can also walk around the 3 acre cider apple orchard located next door and share a 15ft Splasher Pool. After a days sightseeing guests can return to enjoy a glass of wine or alfresco dining in the delightful enclosed courtyard with Hot Tub. A traditional Norfolk pub (The Crown Hotel Mundford) with an excellent menu and first class draught ales is 2 miles (taxi service by prior arrangement). Shops 2 miles.
