Situated on a very private corner stand with ample parking and a separate flat, Edgewater Cottage comfortably sleeps eight guests in tastefully decorated, en suite bedrooms – all with comfortable, high quality beds. All bedrooms are fitted with under floor heating, ceiling fans and television sets, while the bathrooms all feature heated towel rails and electricity points, with linen and towels provided.

The outside entertainment area features a fire pit, Jacuzzi, pool and braai facilities. While the property is north facing, it is very private, allowing guests to make the most of these facilities in comfort and at leisure. A covered dining area can be sheltered from the elements by rolling down the see-through blinds, and seamlessly integrates the outside entertainment area with the inside living space.

The full kitchen offers filtered drinking water, refrigerator with ice and water on demand, a gas hob with electric oven, a microwave oven, dishwasher, a washing machine and clothes dryer. The television set in the living area as well as those in the bedrooms are connected to the Premium HD DSTV offering and a DVD player is available downstairs. Wireless connectivity to the Internet may also be arranged.

The deck on the south side of the house guarantees hours leisurely spent fishing or relaxing in the sun, with a gazebo begging for friends to enjoy a sun downer or two – even when the sun doesn't shine, as clear roller blinds allow enjoyment of this area in all weather conditions. The floating jetty ensures that boatmen will be able to access it in any tide, and the complimentary canoes are waiting to be taken out for a paddle while an outside shower with warm water will welcome weary and wet paddlers back home.

A guest water closet and king en suite room complete the ground level. The comfortable staircase in the double volume entrance leads to a deck with a swing chair from which to enjoy the view of the pool and the rest of the island. Two private, en suite king bedrooms complete the upper level. The king beds downstairs and in the second bedroom on the upper level may both be split to offer two twin beds per room.

The large deck outside the separate flat overlooks the outside entertainment area, while the flat itself offers an open plan kitchenette and lounge with DSTV. The comfortable queen bedroom features under floor heating while the en suite offers a bath with a handheld shower.
