"five star plus"
We have stayed at pond cottage four times now, the location is perfect, set above the village of porthallow with magnificent views out to the sea, the gardens are very well maintained by the owners John and Sarah, the cottage itself is next to two ponds. Inside pond cottage is everything you could possibly want from a holiday home, the fixtures and fittings are of a very high quality, while the welcomne of fresh scones and local clotted cream and jam and a bottle of fresh helford apple juice is wonderfull. within walking distance it the five pillchard pub which serve fab food and real ales, and the village of st kervene, which has a choice of places to eat.
