Description

Welcome to your home away from home. We have an array of great facilities for 1 or 2 families, with 2 Queen beds and a bunk bed (double and single). Linen and towels are provided. Our family pool is a wonderful place to relax and we have undercover areas if it happens to rain. We have a small spa bath downstairs and plenty of inside facilities. We have an air conditioner downstairs and another in the main bedroom. You will have access to your own outside washing machine and laundry, also with an outside toilet. We have plenty of kitchen goods including a large 420 Litre fridge, dishwasher, microwave, cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery, tv, and most likely free Wi-Fi (although we can't guarantee this). We are relatively close to Tuggerah train station, so it's possible to come up by train from Sydney and catch the local bus, which stops only minutes from outside our door. There are also plenty of reliable buses to other areas on the Central Coast. We are walking distance from Tuggerah Lakes, cafes, second-hand furniture shops, The Hemp shop, a vinyl record shop, pizza, Chinese and Mexican restaurants, Diggers RSL ...... The list goes on!! You can go bike riding along Tuggerah Lake and the Entrance isn't too far to walk to either, where you can feed the Pelicans at 3 pm each day. The house adjoins a small granny flat at the back, which the owner resides in, so there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions about the area, or to contact in case of an emergency. Please be sure to take care of our house and treat it as if it were your own. (Thank you!!) We look forward to meeting you soon!!

Getting around

There is a bus stop only a minute from the house which takes you either to The Entrance or Bateau Bay. You can travel easily to the train station or to Gosford via public transport.

Interaction with guest

You have a completely separate living room space, although I live right next door should there be any problems. We park out of the way, on the road, to give you access to all the parking spots, and we refrain from using the pool when we have guests, so you have it all to yourselves.

House rules

When vacating please leave all your linen on the bed (unmade and messy so I know what beds you have used and what beds you haven't.) DO NOT remove the duvet covers. We do not provide beach towels, herbs and spices. We have a BBQ (access with a $50 deposit). Do not touch the pool pump under any circumstances. Wash all sand off before entering the house or swimming in the pool. Please note that there will be a fee of $20 per night for any additional guests that haven't booked. Thank you.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
