“Foxes barn”

Reviewed 5 Mar 2017

We really enjoyed our stay in the barn, it was like a 2nd christmas, so relaxed in the beautiful sitting room by the cosy log fire after a lovely stroll into Tewkesbury across the fields. The house was well equipped with everything! Beautiful peaceful surroundings and great for the dogs. Thank you!

“Beautiful barn provides an ideal base for Malvern hills and Cotswolds.”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2016

We stayed at this lovely, well equipped converted barn with our 2 dogs. We had a brilliant week visiting local villages and towns in both the Malvern hills and Cotswolds. The dogs loved the footpath into the fields behind the barn eagerly waiting to go out. The owners live close to the barn and were very welcoming. We had such a good time in foxes barn thus are hopefully planning to stay again next year. I'll be booking as soon as the dates of holiday in 2017 are available.

“Lovely place - convenient but just out of the hustle bustle”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2013

Enjoyed our stay at the barn. Convenient to Tewkesbury, but also just a few metres off the motorway. We stayed 3 nights and found this to be central for a day trip to South Wales and another day trip to Worcester/Stratford/Cotswolds. Had all the facilities we required for cooking/washing and wireless for the kids. Would stay again if in the region.

“We didn't want to leave this lovely barn!”

Reviewed 28 Mar 2013

Last minute booking which exceeded our expectations! The facilities are excellent, clean, everything you needed and the welcome pack was brilliant - the eggs & the scones, jam and cream meant we didn't have to go out shopping the first evening. The log fire in the lounge makes it a really cozy place. The WiFi meant we able to keep in touch with everyone. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door. Mark & Liz were very friendly and helped us with anything we needed including jump starting our car. We had a wheelchair user with us and the downstairs bedroom and shower room was ideal. Lovely big garden and plenty of fields for our dog to run around. We were able to have family come and visit which included a toddler - the spacious & level flooring meant it was safe for her to run around. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily come back again. Thank you Mark, Liz & family for making us so welcome. Alison, Paul, Jenny & Bonnie (the dog)

“The Perfect Place for a Family Gathering”

Reviewed 19 Jan 2013

We booked the barn hoping the accommodation would prove to be suitable for a flexible family reunion, in one of our favourite areas, and were not disappointed. The barn is spacious and very comfortable. As the English weather can not be relied upon to be favourable, a retreat with a snug log fire, new games and books provided, and areas for people to relax and do their own thing is the perfect solution. Mark and Liz provided us with a generous welcome and responded positively to every request. We would love to go back!

“A large beautifully converted barn with lots of character and country views!”

Reviewed 17 Sep 2012

Foxes Barn was our base for a recent wedding we attended in Tewkesbury and we weren't disappointed. We stayed there for 2 nights and will certainly be returning again in the very near future as we had an excellent time. Foxes Barn was close to our wedding venue and also in close proximity to the town centre and various walks which meant there was always plenty to do. The inside of the barn has been finished to a very high standard and the accomodation on offer was so much better than some of the over priced hotels in the area we have previously stayed in. If this isn't the best value for money accomodation in Tewksbury............I'd like to see what is!

“Lovely barn conversion in peaceful countryside”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2012

A very comfortable barn conversion with everything you would need for a self catering holiday. The very spacious kitchen/dining room even has a full size fridge freezer so if you're staying for more than a couple of days you can just shop once as there is plenty of room to store your groceries. The lounge has plenty of comfy seating and is light and airy with views over the owners garden to the countryside beyond. The bedrooms are spacious and have cosy duvets with extra throws if required and good sized drawer and wardrobe space. The bathroom downstairs and en-suite upstairs are both excellent, both were spotlessly clean and had ample hot water. The shower in the downstairs bathroom was amazing and when you finally dragged yourself from it there were plenty of fluffy towels provided too. The owners were very friendly and had left us a welcome tray in the kitchen with scones, jam and cream also tea, coffee, milk, wine and fantastic fresh eggs from the resident chickens. We would recommend the barn to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday that is in easy reach of all the lovely cotswold towns and villages.

“Lovely Place, Lovely People”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2012

Located in an idilic setting, yet within close walking distance of Tewkesbury. A perfect environment to relax with lots of places for the kids to run and explore. The barn itself is very nicely refurbished and equipped with everything you need. The children loved the upstairs room looking out over the fields. The owners are very friendly and close at hand if we had any questions.
