You have all the facilities needed for self catering should you wish. It has a pretty garden with privacy. It is something of a sun-spot where you can take breakfast or barbeque or simply sit. The beautiful Cinque Port - Rye, is less than a 30 minute drive away - a great place to wander, check out antique shops, eat, drink.... Then there is Hastings with its thriving 'boho' old town...London not too far....I could go on.
