The Pembrokeshire region
Pembrokeshire is a magical part of the United Kingdom with an outstanding coastline - recently judged joint second in the world by National Geographic Traveler magazine alongside the Tutukaka Coast in New Zealand. In addition, Lonely Planet has named Coastal Wales the "best region on Earth" to visit in 2012. The county enjoys a mild climate and wonderful light, which is particularly appreciated by artists and photographers.
The county has some of the best beaches in the UK, including the beaches in Tenby, Saundersfoot, Barafundle Bay (voted one of the 12 most beautiful beaches in the world) and Freshwater West, the latter having recently featured in Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood" and both "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" films. More recently, scenes from "Snow White and the Huntsman" starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, have been filmed at Marloes Sands.
There are lots of opportunities to walk along the coastline, with Britain's only dedicated coastal National Park extending from Amroth to Poppit Sands, a distance of 299 km.
Wales is known for its castles and its dragons! There are 51 forts and castles in Pembrokeshire, including those local to the area around Tenby - Manorbier, Haverfordwest, Picton, Narbeth and Carew castles. You may even find a dragon or two!
In addition to the local castles, you might like to visit Pembroke Castle, the remains of Lamphey Bishops Palace, Bosherston Lily Ponds and St David's Cathedral.
Tenby or Dinbych-y-Pysgod (Fortress of the Fishes), is a lively, bustling town with over 3 miles of fabulous, sandy Blue Flag beaches. It's a great place for all watersports, including surfing and snorkelling and for outdoor activities such as horseriding, walking, cycling and fishing. It's also got an amazing night life with great pubs, restaurants and bars.
Tenby's 18-HOLE GOLF COURSE is a 15 minute walk from the apartment.
During the year, there are a number of festivals and events:
Tenby 10K - July
Tenby Summer Spectacular - August
Ironman Wales,Tenby Blues Festival and the Tenby Arts Festival
................ and of course, in December,, the famous Boxing Day Swim!

"Exceptional location, very well appointed apartment, could not have wished for better"
We stayed here for 3 nights over the Easter weekend, and from the picking up of the keys, being shown our own parking space in undercover car park (in Tenby! How cool is that) to seeing the bright, airy apartment for the first time, I can honestly say that nothing let this place down at all. While you are inside that apartment, you feel away from the bustle of Tenby with lovely rooftop views and no noise from street, apart from some seagulls maybe. As soon as you step outside building entrance you are right in the heart of Tenby and we were more than happy to leave the car in its space all weekend knowing it was safe. Really, everything is on your doorstep here. Tesco Express around the corner for your fresh breakfast goodies, or use the cafes and takeaways literally 2 door away. Having said that if you fancy cooking, you will find every implement necessary in the kitchen. There is no dishwasher here, however this wasn't a problem for us and there is a very nice wine cooler instead which was a real novelty for me. The apartment was very clean and looked freshly painted, no scuffs or chips anywhere. The owner has left a very helpful file with instructions for all gadgets (including the remote control for the lights) as well as ideas for places to visit and good places to eat for all budgets. This level of thought has often been missing in other holiday lets I have stayed in, but I am struggling to think of anything which could have improved this one.... maybe WiFi but now I'm really being picky. I would definitely go back

"Fantastic accommodation, super location and excellent customer service."
Myself and my husband stayed in this apartment for Ironman Wales 2012. We stayed for 4 days. The apartment itself is in the heart of Tenby Town on Frog Street, the location is perfect. The apartment is kitted out with all high end mod cons, kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom. The apartment is just perfect so much so we are coming back again next summer and next September for the Ironman again!! Gail the owner has been a pleasure to deal with and has been very accommodating with any requests/needs we have had. When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely lady Rian who directed us to the underground car park, informed us about the amenities close by. The car park is very secure you are given two sets of keys one with a fob for the Carpark. Rian then brought us up to the apartment and gave us a tour of the apartment and ran through the facilities in the apartment and the complex. There was a welcome pack on arrival (milk in the fridge tea and coffee, washing liquid under the sink and bags for the bin, this was a big thing in my eyes, as the last thing you want to do is go shopping for these kind of items especially after traveling) there was also a book in the apartment which gives you a "how to.." of everything in the apartment and "where to and what to.." in detail of the area...a very handy book and idea. There was also a town pass to use in your car, as the ironman was on that weekend we stayed there were many roads closed down or partially closed off to facilitate the event but if you had this pass it allowed you to travel with ease in and out of the town. The north beach & harbour which is a 2 minute walk from the apartment is beautiful, the south beach is about a 5 minute walk. There are some amazing little restaurants, cafes, shops and sites all within walking distance. The town was electric and the locals were so pleasent and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found ourselves wishing we had booked for longer. We will be recommending it to our friends and family and are definitely returning to the this apartment again. Just perfect.

"What a fantastic place to stay in Tenby"
My daughter and I have just got back from spending a week in this apartment in Tenby and we absolutley loved it. The apartment is superb and furnished to a very high standard. My daughter had the bedroom which she loved and said the bed was one of the most comfortable she has slept on. I used the sofa bed which was dead easy to setup and again very comfortable. The secure underground parking is excellent and the location is fantastic, right in the heart of the town and close to the beach but also very quiet, apart from those pesky seagulls :-) We will definitley stay there again in the future as we loved Tenby and we would highly recommend this property.

"Outstanding apartment, perfect British holiday!"
Stayed in this apartment in June with my girlfriend. Really enjoyed the holiday, perfect location bang in the centre of Tenby! Modern and stylish apartment, all amenities that you need. Tenby was a great base to explore the west Wales coast, and we enjoyed a great day in Oakwood theme park.
