With a classic crescent of Georgian buildings, Teignmouth is a real hidden gem on the South Devon coast – both an historic port and classic seaside resort. With all the traditional attractions of a coastal holiday destination you won't need to venture far to find a promenade, Victorian pier, a lido, shops and parks.
There are two distinct sides to Teignmouth – the sea front and the harbour side. It's this beautiful contrast and the fact that everything is within easy reach that makes the town so special.
The property is located on the estuary side of town, this charming beach takes you back to days gone by. Local fishermen mend nets, sand eels are caught, boats bob up and down with the tide and children splash and play. Watch the sun set magnificently over the River Teign and just watch the world go by. Dogs are welcome all year round.

"Great location value and size"
We all had a great time that is all ages from 3 years old to 89 years old. Situated well within walking distance for the town centre railway station harbour pubs and seafront. Sat outside the pub looking over the harbour on an evening was so nice and only 50 yards walk back to the house. The house was very comfortable and roomy to be able to have a big family meal together at the large table was great fun. Could not fault the house or location cant wait to go back.

"Central location, close to all the amenities"
The house is ideal for a large group of friends due to the flexible sleeping options. Centrally located in the town with shops, restaurants and pubs close by, the location is ideal for those wanting to be able to walk to their chosen destination. This House is very good value for money

"Amazing location, huge rooms, great value, nothing flashbut ideal families."
We had 4 families staying together and we had plenty of space for us all. Rooms are really spacious with simple furnishing. Top floor though is like a sauna when it's sunny, no insulation, windows don't open much, could do with a fan or 2 up there, makes it difficult to sleep, especially for kids. Bring some dark sheets/towels to hang over curtains as they don't keep out much light, one room doesn't have any at all. Big kitchen, massive fridge. No dining room though, got a couple of benches to eat around, it works, but can be difficult with lots of kids. We ate out or took dinner outside (there's no garden, we used the river beach round the corner). We loved our stay there, would definitely go back. It's just 30 yards from the working docks which are a great place to hang out in the evening as everyone goes out for a drink as the sun goes down. The beach is 200 yards away, got a great playground next to it, and lifeguards to watch as you swim.
