Description

This quiet roof top apartment has a large terrace with a magnificent uninterrupted view to the sea. It is perfectly positioned to get the afternoon sun & sunsets, while you have a glass of wine. Tazacorte's microclimate provides the best weather in La Palma.

Our penthouse apartment, is on the third - (top) floor with easy lift access(press 2), wheel chair friendly. There are only 3 apartments on our floor. Outside parking. Smoking allowed in the terrace. Wifi in apartment(free). Air conditioning (living room), 1 fan (living room), washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker/oven, TV, DVD player, satellite TV, Bosche battery hoover (very light, no cord), microwave, toaster, orange squeezer, blender, iron..sorry no dishwasher.

One twin bed ensuite bedroom; wall fan with bedside controls. 100% Cotton linen, silk duvet and bath/beach towels included.

Apartment is equipped to a very high standard. Apartment & terrace on the same level. Terrace includes table, 4 chairs, 2 wooden chairs, large umbrella, 2 sun beds. Part of the terrace has an elevated wooden platform to enhance the views of the sea and banana plantation.

The apartment has an enclosed ground floor swimming pool(small) with sun beds, which are hardly used but offers a welcome dip after a day in the sun.

Tazacorte is an old Spanish town with banks, bars, restaurants, chemist, two supermarkets and shops close by. There are regular bus services to the beach and the whole island. Beautiful Tazacorte Playa beach is only a 5 minute drive. La Palma is a walkers' paradise with well signposted footpaths.

Tazacorte Puerto (port) 5min car/bus or 20 walk. Boat excursions, to see the beautiful coast line and if you are lucky, dolphins/whales (seasonal).

Charco Verde (beach), Los Guirres and Puerto Naos, are also worth exploring. Sunsets are spectacular.....in all of La Palma.

Other activities that you can find in the island are: boat trips, diving, hand-gliding, cycling, etc.

The apartment is 2 mins walk from a medical centre and sports centre. Free Wi-Fi Service is available in the apartment-please type password, which is under wifi receiver.

You can reach La Palma either direct or from the closest island (Tenerife) - then either take a small Binter plane or a ferry (Fred Olsen).

Cleaning and taxi service is available upon request

Getting around

The best way to see the island is by car. A taxi service can be arranged for you, if you prefer not to drive. Pick up/return from airport, upon request. Buses in La Palma are very good, from the apartment it is a 5 minute walk to the bus stop....they run every hour to the beach and main bus station in Los Llanos.

Interaction with guest

Guests will be able to contact me immediately. We will be able to arrange your arrival in the apartment, according to your flight details. Maria is my right hand in Tazacorte, she will be waiting for you in the apartment at a pre arranged time. She will give you 2 sets of keys....3 keys in each set (front door, apartment, pool). Closer to your date of arrival, I'll send you photos and information. My aim is to make your holiday special.

“Lovely apartment with charming terrace, convenient parking and close to center of Tazacorte”

We enjoyed a great week in this apartment - parking right out front, shops within 5 minutes walk and beach only short 5 min drive away (can walk to it but we never did). Plenty of cafes by the beach to people watch and relax, but the terrace was a delight in the mornings and evenings so was our preferred spot early/late in the day. We loved the shower and the bathtub meant all options were available depending on what you feel like or need. Beautiful island that we enjoyed exploring - landscape stunning and so varied. Ana was a very attentive and engaged host - excellent communication throughout which was great and reassuring.

“Very good and well equipped apartment!”

Very good location, Tazacorte is a authentic village. The apartment is well equipped, only a dishwasher is missing everything else is there. The roof terrace is very big and nice with good furniture. We would love to return to this apartment.

The apartment is really nice, clean and comfortable and the views from the terrace (particularly at sunset) are truly memorable. There is nice walk down to the port with restaurants to suit all tastes where we enjoyed eating outside and looking out to sea. Thank you Ana for your helpful advice and information about local walks and things to see and do. Hope to come again some time!

How do damage deposits work?

If Ana (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
