“Wonderful stay in beautiful Taynuilt!"”

Reviewed 24 Oct 2014

Our stay in Taynuilt could not have been better! Anna was so helpful - she and her partner Kevin were very easy to communicate with and even wrote us a list of recommendations for places to see and eat in the area before we arrived. On arrival, Anna came right out to welcome us to the cottage and talked us through everything we needed to know about staying there. The cottage itself is perfect - exactly as it is in the photos & very clean. My mother and her cousin stayed in the upstairs room with two twin beds and said it was very comfortable. My boyfriend and I stayed in the master bedroom and we really enjoy having the ensuite for us to use in the morning! Taynuilt itself is a lovely little village with beautiful views and a cozy little hotel/restaurant where you can grab a meal or a pint. It's also close to lots of other sights on Scotland's west coast - we were able to visit Oban, Fort William, Glencoe and Glenfinnan all in one weekend. Thanks so much for the wonderful little weekend getaway, Anna & family - we loved every minute!

The cottage was lovely, clean and with everything you needed .It had a private patio area to relax in and lots of woodland and lakeside walks nearby .The owners were friendly, helpful and descrete. The local village pub and shop just a short walk away.We had a perfect week with glorious weather.Visiting lochs, castles gardens , jails, hydro electric stations and a magical trip to the isle of Mull .We would highly recommend Redhill.

“A hidden gem in a lovely location”

Reviewed 26 Jun 2014

The Cottage was perfect accommodation for us, in a lovely location. The facilities and the decor were excellent, and the owners kindly ensured we had everything that would make our stay really special.

Owner's reply: Thank you and we very much look forward to welcoming you back again.

“A real home-from-home experience, modern, comfortable and welcoming.”

My husband and I stayed at The Cottage in Taynuilt over Easter and we had a lovely time. The surroundings are beautiful, with a mountain view and a short walk to the shores of the breathtaking Loch Etive. We used The Cottage as a base to travel around the Highlands by car and enjoy all that the area has to offer. The whole cottage was very clean, and furniture and fittings were to a very good standard, especially the kitchen. The showers were excellent! There's a small village nearby (within easy walking distance) with local stores, and a hotel with a bar for evening meals and a quiet drink if you fancy a night off from cooking. Customer service was warm, welcoming and discreet. My husband is a keen fell runner, climber and cyclist and he found the area perfect for all these activities - all right on the doorstep to The Cottage. Overall experience was peaceful, private and just what we needed to getaway from it all and recharge our batteries. We'll definitely go and stay at The Cottage again.
