Description

This is a self catering suite with private access and a private garden. The suite has a king size bed furnished with 500 count Egyptian cotton, luxury toiletries and a modern en-suite shower room. It also has a kitchen-diner and outdoor BBQ decking area for those wishing to dine alfresco. For those wanting a romantic and very private stay, there is a great choice of locally produced food and drink that can be ordered ready for your arrival so you don't have to fill your own fridge or cupboards after the journey. For the adventurers, we have bicycles available to rent onsite and a great list of rides or walks about the area.

Please don't hesitate to make suggestions or requests for your stay with us. Provisions for continental breakfast are not included when selecting room only.

Getting around

Located almost in the middle of the town centre, our aim here at Rockmount is to make your stay a comfortable and memorable one. Created just a few years ago, our bedrooms are beautifully appointed and offer contemporary decor, home-like amenities and great views of the town centre and Dartmoor beyond. Every comfort you need can be found in these stylish bedrooms. All rooms offer individual heating control, featuring soft 300-thread count Egyptian cotton linen, duvet and soft pillows atop a generous king-size pocket sprung bed for a comfortable and sound night's sleep. A car is recommended but bikes are available to rent nearby and there is a superb cycle network just on the doorstep.

Hi! This is Tony at Rockmount in Tavistock here, just a quick note about access to the B&B. The door entry code for arrivals will be sent the day before you arrive. You'll find, just off the back of the car park, a gate with No.5 on it, this is your door. You’ll find the key in the room along with all of the usual tea, coffee and toiletries If you need me for anything you can either E-Mail or Call anytime during your stay. The Rockmount Free WiFi (the 3G router on the desk may need powering up) code is On the back of the unit. The drawers house and induction hob and the cupboard to the left there is a combination oven. There's loads of great restaurants in town and a good few takeaways too .

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
