You will find us nestled within the quiet hamlet of Dippertown not far from the ancient,colourful market towns of Tavistock, Launceston and Okehampton. The cottage backs on to miles upon miles of un spoilt countryside and woodlands for you to explore, so you will have plenty of opportunity to relax and unwind at leisure.

With easy access to both the rugged dramatic north coast,the soft sandy beaches of the south and the quiet magic of the moors: Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and Exmoor. You can explore a county steeped in history.

Passion Flower cottage is perfect for couples looking for a romantic break away. The luxuriously appointed property is centrally heated with a wood burning stove in the lounge making it snug and cosy. There is an LCD screen TV and DVD,a couple of radios and a bookcase stocked with local books and information on the local area There is a well equipped kitchen with automatic washing machine, microwave and fridge readily stocked with milk for that well earned cup of tea on your arrival together with clotted cream and jam for your Devonshire Cream Tea treat!.

A large,bright, bedroom with William Morris soft furnishings, original exposed beams and king size bed makes this a very romantic space.The large en suite bathroom has both a large bath and shower. Towels, bathrobes and hairdryer are supplied, along with all bed linen. Downstairs double doors lead to your own garden with table and chairs.There is access from the garden into our young orchard of old Devon variety apples and beyond that. down into our little valley, where you can cross the stream over a bridge and then out into the woods. You will find a labyrinth of public footpaths which will take you on some very pretty walks.

The property is no smoking inside but we have no objection to outside the cottage.

We love dogs and provide everything you should need to make your pooch as happy as possible.We provide extra doggy towels,treats, doggy guest tags and a washing station complete with shampoo and towels for those muddier dog walks.

Prior to your arrival,please contact me for any other information you may need.I am happy to place any requests in the cottage before your arrival ie wine,chocolates,groceries etc.

Upon departure I will give you your fuel bill from the electric and oil you have used. There will be a free basket of logs and kindling upon your arrival with a small charge for further baskets.

Come and enjoy a relaxing, carefree break in a beautiful rural setting.

Getting around

Passion Flower is in a very rural location and a car is essential for getting out further afield.We are situated in what the locals call the 'golden triangle',right in the middle of Okehampton,Tavistock and Launceston-all being old market towns and of great interest from an historical point of view and for what they can offer the visitor in terms of shops,cafes,museums,cinemas and theatre.

I will be on hand to greet you and provide you with a warm welcome upon your arrival and I will give you a brief description of how to use the heating,where the logs are stored etc and will be able to answer any questions you may have about the cottage or the local area.We live next door but do our best to give you the space you need for a quiet holiday but equally we are always available if you need us.

House rules

Although Passion Flower has one bedroom and isn't suitable for children we do not object to babies although guests wil have to provide their own travel cot etc.There is no stair gate in the cottage.
We welcome pets and enjoy them being around the place but we would be grateful if you do not allow your pets on the bed or sofas.If you can't manage this,please bring adequate covers.

“Peaceful, perfect and relaxing”

My girlfriend and I have just returned from the cottage and we are amazed at how beautiful and cosy it is. We had a perfect, relaxing week and both Manya & Andrew made us feel more than welcome. We were very blessed with the weather which meant great views travelling about and had a great birthday spending the day at clovelly in north Devon which has scenic coast views and only an hour away! We have only been back a couple hours and already recommended the cottage to our family and friends. The cottage comes with everything you would need and more, and we look to coming back to stay in the future.
