Puddle Duck Lodge is located on Misty Bay a quiet corner of the Water Ski Lake, it has a raised terrace with a hot tub and patio furniture for al fresco dining and stunning views over the lake. Luxuriously furnished and carpeted throughout. Three bedrooms, one double with walk through wardrobe and en suite shower and two twin bedrooms and a family shower room. Spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area. Ideal for families or anyone who just wants to get away from it all.

Tattershall Lakes is 360 acres of woodland and lakes with walks and cycle paths. The park offers numerous watersports such as Just Wake where you can learn to wakeboard or waterski and from May to late September have fun on the giant Aqua Park, the Jet Ski Lake has Jet Ski Rides, infatable sofa rides and fly boarding. There are 3 fishing lakes.

The Merlin Centre has two bars with dining facilities, a shop, an Indoor heated swimming pool with sauna, steam room and gym, outside is a lakeside terrace with children's play area, crazy golf and for warmer days a splash park. The Merlin Centre is open from mid February until 2nd January, passes are required and are available from guest services.

The park is located close to RAF Coningsby which is home to the Typhoon Eurofighter Jet, this can be spectacular to watch but quite noisy at times. This RAF base is also home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Spitfires, Tornados, a Dakota and the only flying Lancaster in Britain can often be spotted flying over the lakes.

Had the best weekend at Puddle Duck lodge! Clean and well-equipped lodge suiting us for our relaxing long weekend with 3 families. Luckily the weather was on our side and we managed to make the most of the beautiful decking, BBQ & hot tub (which was perfectly clean and well maintained - even water tested by the owner during our visit!) The water wipeout is a must! And the kids loved the park area and splash pad. Wished we’d booked the jet ski’s too. Bar 49 was perfect for our afternoon wind-down wine! Hope to visit again soon!

Our group of 8 adults enjoyed our stay at Puddleduck Lodge. It is spacious, clean and very well equipped with everything needed. The large hot tub overlooks the scenic lake and was well used by all. There was also ample parking space for our four cars. The only negative comment is that the bed settee in the lounge is more suitable for children than adults.

It was a lovely lodge, lovely location and well equipped! Plenty of room for all the family! There were games for the children to play on the rainy days we had! Had a great time in the hot tub! All amenities were close by! Will definitely reccomend it!

“Old, misleading description & photos”

Disappointed with Puddleduck Lodge. I’m guessing that the advertising photos were taken when the lodge was new 10 years ago. The hot tub control dials inside are aged and stained. There is no longer a canopy over the tub and the only parasol is torn and damaged so that it tilts lopsided and blows over in the slightest breeze- this means that you can’t use the hot tub in bright sun without burning as it is south facing. The patio is a fair size but again you burn if you spend time on there as there is no useable sun shade from the parasol. The outside area is very tatty, faded and worn out, with large gaps in the uneven decking particularly around the hot tub so mind any valuables that you put down whilst in the tub. Be aware that the owner calls in at random to check on the tub. We had to empty & clean the bbq on arrival before we could use it. The lodge doesn’t overlook a golf course- it’s been replaced by lots & lots of holiday homes. Puddle Duck Lodge looks like it was lovely when newer but now needs some love. It could benefit from the owners living in it for a fortnight and seeing & fixing it’s faults first hand- even simple gestures like some sharp knives & clearing out the drawers of the accumulating grubby random stuff that’s been left by previous guests. The showers need a good scrub to remove the black mound from the sealant. The walk through wardrobe is a useless space as it’s mostly a store area for mismatched patio stuff that is worse than useless. And the bedroom window can’t be used as the handle is faulty- again a big issue in the hot weather and an equally worrying issue for security. Disappointingly ageing badly.

Owner's reply: I'm sorry you were disappointed with the lodge. I had arranged for a decorator to paint the lodge exterior and reseal the showers which was done the week after your stay. It was fitting it in when the lodge wasn't booked. A new parasol has been installed over the hot tub and other issues have been addressed.

The lodge was lovely and very well equipped, the hot tub was used a lot, we had a great time even thought the weather was poor and the site was very muddy, these things can’t be helped! I think it’s unfair that you have to buy the entertainment passes to be able to purchase food and drink in the bar area in the daytime. Swimming pool was nice but small and shallow, my kids found it boring. Lots of activities to do although they are pricey. We will definitely return to the lodge as we really enjoyed the time we spent there. L

I have been to Tattershall lakes a few times now and this cabin is by far the best one I've stayed in. The cabin has everything you need for your stay. It has very private outdoor space and is South facing which is also a plus. The cabin has 2 private fishing pegs too. We went for dad's 80th birthday and him and my brother fished from the pegs and had an excellent day and caught a few fish between them. The hot tub was amazing especially at night with the fairy lights on. My brother and his wife have never stayed at Tattershall before but now they are hooked and we will all be booking again for September and maybe December next year. I 100% recommend Serin Lodge for a very relaxing break away.

Wonderful comfortable lodge. Very well equipped. Everything you need for a fabulous stay. View of lake was magnificent. Free aerial display by RAF pilot ar nearby base which was spectacular top gun material. Would highly recommend. Owners were wonderful, helpful and friendly. Will definitely revisit
