“Easter at Goldfinch Lodge - Why bother going Abroad!!!!!!”

Spent 4 days at Goldfinch Lodge at Tattersall Lakesover Easter 2019 The weather was hot and sunny every day and the large garden with fabulous views over the large Lake really made our holiday! A large Lawn for the children to Play on and for adults to play badminton and bowls. Two Decking areas, one leading from the Lodge through French Doors was ideal for breakfast and drinks in the sun and then huge Decking area with large Tables and seating for Al Fresco Dining! It felt like being in the south of France!!!!!! Thanks again ! The Lythe family

What a lovely weekend! The lodge is beautiful and very clean.location is perfect and the real bonus is the outside space overlooking the lake..really beautiful and is situated on a nice quiet part of the site which us a bonus as I do worry that Tattersall is becoming over commercialised and losing its charm..but this lovely lodge brought it all back how peaceful and relaxing it can be..would love to go in summer but may be out of price range sadly...thank you for a truly lovely stay!

Goldfinch lodge was our base to take in Lincolns sights and sounds.We took our Border Collie too, he loved it ..The lodge was impeccable and because we're from the city of London the slow down into pure chill and relaxation was made easy in this fantastic location,great memories ..We loved all the R.A.F fighters stationed nearby ,that was thrilling, it needs to be checked out! What an amazing place, relaxing and beautiful all at the same time.Staff fantastic, everyone very friendly ,great facilities are there if you want them ...Next time we are getting a hot tub to look out on that breathtaking lake ..11/10

garden lovely and big. great views. lodge was big and cosy. beds comfortable. kitchen well equipped. if you take your sky viewing card you may get sky. we didn't know so didn't take ours. tv only had freesat. didn't really matter though as we had a busy weekend anyway. lodge owners responded quickly with questions when booking and were helpful and informative. thankyou

Last minute get away for us and how pleased we are in booking the lodge... ideal location, very clean, comfy beds , and the log burner on a cold night was just fab, perfect garden of tranquility, and we were allowed to take our 4 legged family , which is a must for us. We will be booking again very soon. Thank you Danny and Avril for organizing our break at the last minute, very much appreciated.

The garden makes this lodge without a doubt. Rain or shine, night or day we were out in it. The view is fabulous and you can't really see or hear neighbours of it felt idyllic. The lodge itself was lovely, the only problem we had was that there's only one bathroom which for a place that sleeps 7 isn't ideal. Can't recommend this place enough and looking to come back next year! :)

We stayed at Goldfinch lodge at the end of July 2016. Our group consisted of 5 adults and 1 toddler. The lodge itself was beautiful and there was plenty of room for us all without being on top of each other. The garden is beautiful and ideal for our little girl to run around in. We have stayed at other lodges at Tattershall in the past but this one suited our needs the best. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was roomy with a bath and a shower.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Danny & Avril (the owner) a message.

If Danny & Avril (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
