“Nice cottage, well furnished, clean and modern”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2013

My wife & I stayed here in July 2013 with our 2 children aged 9 & 6. Cottage was great, with 3 bedrooms so the children could have one each if they wanted. Kitchen lounge area was good and bathroom was clean with good modern fittings, shower & bath - and big enough for a "family bathroom". Well equipped with TV, free wifi, iPod docking station and good cooker, microwave etc in the kitchen ( though no dishwasher - which I overlooked when booking) The location is great and well placed to go North to explore the Highlands, South to go to Glasgow or stay local to spend time around Loch Lomond. Views from front Of cottage are stunning. To the rear is a small wooden decking with some steep rocks behind which is not meant to be played on by children. Another big bonus is there are lots of lovely walks close by. Downsides - not many apart from the fact that if you want to eat out locally, there is not really anything within walking distance. Overall: highly recommended. I would (will) stay here again.
