Glan-yr-Afon Cottage is an 18th Century, stone built cottage in a residential lane in the village of Tanygrisiau, less than 2 miles from Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales. The cottage has one double bedroom and one single with an additional pull out bed, which with the addition of a family bathroom make it suitable for four people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a multi fuel stove. Outside the cottage is an enclosed front garden with furniture and off road parking for one car. Set in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park and with stunning views, Glan-yr-Afon Cottage is a superb cottage in a stunning location.

Shops and amenities 1.6 miles. Note: The arrival time at this property is 5pm, and guests are welcome to stay until 12 noon on departure day.

Its railway station is on the famous Ffestiniog Railway, a narrow gauge railway built to carry slate from the mines down to the sea at Porthmadog, today it is a renowned tourist attraction.
