Lake Fiddler's Cove is nestled in the beautiful and tranquil Cheohee Valley in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is only a short 30 minute drive to CLEMSON, SOUTH CAROLINA, Home of the 2016 National Champion Clemson Tigers! You could not imagine a more picturesque and peaceful setting than this lakefront home where the only sounds you hear are the song birds, the ducks and geese, and the rustling of the trees by the quiet breeze of the valley. This is a home where you can enjoy and share wonderful times with your large extended family and friends with plenty of space and room for any activity you want to enjoy . This home has 6 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a totally modern kitchen with living room and laundry room with Brazilian cherry hardwood floors and tiled bathrooms. And best of all a huge home theatre room which includes a wet bar and refrigerator where you can enjoy all your favorite sports teams and movies with a custom upgraded DirecTV programing package shown on a huge wide screen HD tv and a fantastic surround sound system. Sit in the rocking chairs on the covered porch and marvel at the breathtaking sunrise as it lifts up the mist and fog from the lake as the birds awake and begin to serenade you. Or take breakfast on the patio in the most serene and quiet environment that you never knew existed. This fall and winter will be perfect for soaking in the hot tub or cozying up to the fire pit relaxing after a wonderful day of vacationing. Home has a dock where you can fish or swim or take off in your kayak, canoe, or pontoon boat. This beautiful and warm home will remind you of the Waltons and is located just north of Scenic Highway 11 in the breathtaking Cheohee Valley, properly named by the Cherokee as the "Place of the Sunlight of God".This lake has some of the most breathtaking sunsets you will ever experience with its beautiful rolling meadows framed by mountains and a wide triangle sky with the Sumter National Forest as its backdrop .At night sit on the back porch or patio and enjoy the big starry sky where light pollution will not interfere with this magical property as outside lights are not allowed in Fiddler's Cove.

Your vacation home is only 15 minutes from the turquoise blue water of Lake Jocassee and its pristine beach. You are only 15 minutes from Lake Keowee, the largest lake in the upstate and your destination for big boating, water skiing, and diving.

As for parties not being allowed let me clarify. Private family parties to celebrate anything are perfectly fine. What we can't have are loud noisy parties, particularly outside. This is a very quiet tranquil lake and the neighbors prize that more than anything. Sound travels very well across this lake and the last thing any of us need are upset neighbors. So if you are looking for a place where you can party til its 2am in the morning 1999..this is not it.

Kayaks are available for floating on Fiddler's Cove Lake. You can use my kayaks that have HOA stickers on them or bring your own and a sticker will be provided. Motorized boats are only allowed for Fiddler's Cove residents but Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee are both just 15 minutes away and my circular driveway and huge parking area in front of my garage will allow you to store your boat here at the house between outings. You are 20 minutes from Whitewater Falls in North Carolina one of the most stunning waterfalls in the Carolinas that sits just a few hundred yards off Hwy 130. You are a scenic 35 minute drive to Cashiers, NC and 45 minutes from Highlands, quaint mountain towns with wonderful restaurants and shops.

This home is 15-20 minutes away from grocery stores and many diverse restaurants as well as your big box stores and a modern Greenville Health System hospital. Home is an hour to Greenville or Anderson, an hour and 20 minutes to Ashevile, or 2 hours to Charlotte or Atlanta. GSP is one of the easiest airports to get in and out of in the entire country.

If you are a fan of the 2016 National Champions Clemson Tigers you will be pleased to know that you are only a 30 minute drive to Tiger Stadium and Death Valley driving a route over and around the stunning vistas of Lake Keowee.

Once you enjoy the experience of a relaxing and restorative vacation in this home you will want to come back. And we will have a light on for you.

I will not be here to greet you as I have moved to the coast of Georgia. My property manager Rebecca Powell, who also lives here on the lake, will be available to make sure you are settled into your new vacation abode and respond to any questions or needs you may have. My cell phone number will be posted here in the home so if you need me for anything I am just a phone call away. Life is all about family and friends and making memories. I intend to do all I can possibly can to make sure your stay in my home will create fond memories you will cherish for the rest of your life.

House rules

Wild noisy parties are not allowed as the neighbors here on Fiddler's Cove cherish their peace and quiet. So you must be mindful of your music volume and loud conversation when you are outside as the sound travels across this lake very well. Upset neighbors are the last thing anyone wants to have.

I simply ask that you treat my home as you would your own..and then go about making lifetime memories here on our own private little On Golden Pond refuge.
