Description

The Chapel House is a large warm and friendly house that is ideally located for exploring Snowdonia's many attractions. The house has 3 bedrooms, a large main lounge, separate dining room and very well equipped kitchen. It has been very well renovated retaining allot of charm and it's original majesty in a quiet location. There are views over the local farm and mountains from both bedroom windows.

Walking, climbing, cycling, canoeing or sailing all can be found within a few minutes drive - the many paths Snowdon start at only 10-15 mins drive away and the village itself overlooks the impressive Nantlle ridge. The Llyn Peninsula and other local beaches are just 20 mins drive away. It is a great place to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors and relax in the evening by the log burner or out in the large rear garden.

It is suited to both families or couples alike as the village has a playground, old quarry to explore and village pub ( quiz nights

“Great location and great price”

Reviewed 14 May 2017

This is the second time we have stayed here. Perfect location and price. Spacious. It was ideal or us - 4 adults and 2 children. Andrew has always been really easy to deal with. Would stay again without hesitation. Last year we did a zip and ZipWorld and this year surfed at Surf Snowdonia. Would thoroughly recommend both!

“THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE IN WALES”

There is an amazing spacious house with everything what you need to lead everyday live. House is very atractive located close to most popular attractions in Snowdonia. We had been visited Criccieth and Cearnarfon Castles, Dinas Dinlle and Pwlhelli beaches, Snowdon of course and few smaller hills in this area, Porthmadog with Ffestiniog Railway and many many other interesting places. Thanks to Andrew and other. House was a clean and tidy when we came. PS. photos on web site don't show the truth - there is a lot lot better on site :-) YES YES YES for other

“Great house in beautiful location with helpful and considerate owner”

Reviewed 12 Apr 2013

My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Ty Capel and found it very reasonably priced. The house was as described; the rooms were spacious, clean and well-equipped, as well as being warm and homely. The owner was really helpful with our queries and also happy to provide plenty of information on the local area, which is excellent for walking, including the amazing mountains, woodland and beaches, all of which were within a 15-minute drive of the property. We would highly recommend a visit!

“Excellent Holiday Home - Well worth a visit”

Reviewed 20 Mar 2013

Brilliant Chapel House in a great location for the Llyn Pennisula, Snowdonia & Anglessey. All rooms are big and the house is full of character. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining room. Great to have a log burner in the lounge, with ample logs to use. Owner is very helpful and generous. Have stayed there twice now and we are looking forward to the next time.

“Beautiful house, full of character in a stunning location”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2012

Ty Capel is a beautifully restored house with lots of room and character. My family and I had a wonderful holiday here and only wish we could of stayed longer. Talysarn is a small village with friendly locals located on the edge of Snowdonia. There are many things to do in the locale, we enjoyed vising beaches close by and going into the mountains. I am already looking forward to another holiday there.

A very complete cottage. Lots of room. Cosy. Dogs allowed. Very helpful and friendly owner and the neighbors are fantastic. Always in for a chat and so very helpful. Nearby many tourist attractions. Great surroundings for hiking and other adventurous stuff. Travelling with young children there's also so many things to do. Absolutely superb. And great value for the price paid.
