Hawkstone is a spacious 3 bedroom bungalow that has been completely refurbished to a high standard to ensure the maximum comfort for guests with good quality bed linen and towels included in the price.

“Excellent holiday, very well equipped, highly recommended”

We were really impressed with how well equipped the bungalow was - especially with wine, tea, coffee and milk and much more already provided! - its cleanliness (spotless!) and the attention to detail you paid to ensure we had a 'home-from-home' for a few days. It was also very roomy, nicely decorated but still homely, and it was ust a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. We really hope to return in the future.

An absolutely immaculate and very comfortable bungalow, exceptionally well equipped and provided. The high standards extend to the al fresco dining facilities in the pleasant and secluded garden. Deserves an extra star.

Hawkstone is a beautiful bungalow with everything you could wish for and more...comfy beds, excellent linen and towels and a superbly equipped kitchen. The garden is a pleasure to sit in with a peach tree attracting several species of is a lovely sun trap. There was a welcome gift of wine and biscuits and tea, coffee,sugar and milk all provided. The owners have gone out of their way to make your holiday enjoyable. I had several conversations by email with Pam, the owner, a lovely lady to do business with. If I had any complaint it would be that Talybont does not have a shop, and a car is really necessary if you don't want to rely on the bus.

In relation to shops, there are shops on the nearby caravan parks to which non residents are welcome and a local Spar with an award winning butchers which is a 15 minute walk away. “A Lovely Place to Stay!”

We had a wonderful stay at Hawkstone, its a well maintained property, with a good amount of space in each room. The kitchen was nice, it had everything we needed in it (utensils, cutlery, toaster, microwave and more, it was even stocked with tea/coffee/sugar, amongst other items. The living room was spacious, with 2 sofa's and a dining area. There's wifi, and a dvd player with dvd's there also. The beds were very comfy, and there was plenty of space in 2 of the bedrooms for personal belongings etc ... the other bedroom had a chest of draws, which was still enough space for 4 nights. The Bathroom was nice and clean, bonus having an extra toilet in the property also. We ate in and cooked most days, there is a little pizza place just down the road, easy walking distance, eat-in or take-out. The area is quiet, people are friendly of what we seen in the area. The owners were very friendly, they met us outside the bungalow and handed us the keys, little did I know, there was something waiting in the kitchen for us when we arrived; there was a Greeting card, a bottle of wine, biscuits and cakes, which were all enjoyed. Thanks Pam and Roy! I Would recommend a stay at Hawkstone.
