Description

Our 1000 sf (93m) 2 bedroom air conditioned apartment is situated in Tala, a traditional Greek Cypriot village which is surrounded by elegant private villa's and small apartment buildings.

Our large covered verandah overlooks a valley with stunning 180 degree panoramic views of the Paphos coastline & Mediterranean.

In the village square there are a number of restaurants, a taverna and two grocery stores. These are just an easy 5 minute stroll away. A chemist/pharmacy and laundry are also just minutes walk away.

The apartment is managed by a British couple who will "Meet & Greet" you when you arrive at the apartment prior to 8.00 p.m. / 20.00 hours. A lock box will be used for later arrivals. If you have any questions or problems during your stay, do not hesitate to contact them. They are there to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Included in your rental is a complimentary "Welcome Pack" (for stays of 7 nights or more) which has basic staples such as bread, milk, eggs, butter, tea, coffee and sugar..

A lift/elevator will take you to our spacious 4th floor apartment which is part of Tala Hills 1.

We have furnished the entire apartment to a very high standard with imported furniture, furnishings and artworks.

The lounge and dining area are bright, open and airy.

The lounge has a custom made sofa which converts to a full and comfortable double bed. There are also two large rattan chairs, a large coffee table, two side tables and a floor rug. The lounge can comfortably seat in excess of 6 people and the entire living space is great for entertaining

Wi-Fi allows you to stay in contact via your laptop, tablet or Smart phone.

The entertainment system has a large LED HD T.V.and a dvd/cd/vhs combo player. IPTV supplies UK channels.

The dining area is spacious and furnished with a Georgian style table and six upholstered chairs.

Adjacent to the lounge / dining room is a separate, well designed and fully equipped kitchen which includes a washing machine, a dishwasher. as well as a fridge/freezer, oven, counter top hob, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. There is of course, cutlery, china and glasswares together with cooking utensils, pots, pans etc.

A hallway leads to the fully tiled and bright bathroom (bath/shower combo) as well as the large master bedroom and the second double bedroom.

Both bedrooms are furnished with imported furniture including the beds/mattresses as well as bedside tables and dressers with mirrors. A hair dryer is in each bedroom. The master bedroom also has an electric alarm clock. Both bedrooms have floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes.

The lounge and the master bedroom lead onto the large covered verandah where you have the most stunning views of Paphos and the Mediterranean. On the verandah is a table and 6 chairs. Here you can sit and enjoy the views and the sounds of song birds as you enjoy your breakfast. During the evening enjoy the many magnificent sunsets as you sip a nice glass of wine.

During the cooler months, the air conditioning units convert to heaters. These units are on timers to conserve electricity.

There is a large swimimng pool which is surrounded by well groomed gardens and grounds. Sunbeds are supplied. but bring your own beach towels as these are not supplied. Showers and WC are located by the pool.

For your convenience we have had a safe installed.

To get the most pleasure from your trip, we do recommend that you hire a car. There is ample private off road parking. at " Tala Hills 1 ".

If you hire a vehicle, then this can be picked up and dropped off at the airport.

By car from/to Paphos airport is an approx 25 to 30 minute drive. From/to Larnaca airport is approx 75 to 90 minutes. Full directions from either Paphos or Larnaca airport can be forwarded to you once a booking has been completed.

It is about an 10 to 15 minute drive to the beaches and the town of Paphos with its historic harbour & sites, shops, restaurants, market, supermarkets and banks.

Three 18 hole championship international golf courses are within an easy drive of the apartment. The nearest (Tsada) is an approx 15 minute drive away.

If you do not decide to rent a car then :

- Taxis are reasonable. Recently, guests stayed at the apartment and they only used taxis. The apartment manager can recommend a taxi co to you.

They said that the drivers were all friendly, helpful and punctual. Approx cost from Paphos airport to the apartment Euro 40. From or to the town of Paphos, approx Euro 10 each way.

- There is a bus service (daytime only) from Tala into Paphos which runs Monday through Friday and Saturday morning. There is no service on Sundays. From the Paphos main bus terminal you can then connect to other destinations.

Tala Village square is literally a 5 minute level walk from the apartment. There are numerous restaurants, a traditional Cypriot taverna and two small convenience stores (called Kiosks).

“Excellent apartment”

Stayed at this apartment for 8 days, and had a great time. Owners really helpful with information and provided a welcome food pack which was nice. The apartment is really spacious, clean and well equipped. The views are amazing from the large balcony. The location of apartment is great just a short walk to tala square. The pool area is nice, with plenty of sun beds. Definitely would recommend to stay here and would stay again.

Everything you needed, good view in a location that we wanted. You will need a car to get around the Island, but a few restaurants in walking distance from Apartment.
