Location description from owner

The England region

The beautiful villages of Symonds Yat East and West, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire are two of the most well known in the Wye Valley. Approximately six miles from the town of Ross-on-Wye, the villages are a hive of activity and a popular spot for taking forest walks, canoeing, fishing, taking a cruise along the River Wye or enjoying a cream tea. There is a traditional rope ferry, which is moored at the Saracen's Head Inn and crosses the river regularly, taking passengers between the two villages.

“Perfect location”

Reviewed 11 May 2014

We really enjoyed our stay at your lovely cottage. Superb setting, homely and extremely clean. Great to be able to walk from the cottage into the woods, or take the hand ferry across the river.

Thank you, we look forward to seeing you again.
