You can take a virtual tour around the cottage to see the quality of the accommodation at I don't know if you are familiar with the Gower and Port Eynon, but it is very much a charming fishing village and as such consists of pretty cottages developed in a random higgledy piggledy fashion. There is nothing like the stunning view over the village with the sea stretching to the horizon as you begin your descent down into the village via the winding road. Port Eynon is the most southerly point of the Gower and the public road ends there. There is no through traffic. The beach is backed by sand dunes and you can walk along to the East to Horton, another charming village. In addition to the restaurant and the pub, there are fish restaurants, a surf shop, and general stores for provisions. Can be combined with Port Eynon Beach Cottage to allow 14 guests. Cottages linked by internal door on first floor. Dining room in Port Eynon Beach Cottage large enough for 14 to eat together. For cost add the individual prices for the 2 cottages for the relevant price band

Location description from owner

The South Wales region

The Gower peninsular was the first designated area of outstanding natural beauty in the UK. It boasts many unique species of fauna and flora which can be explored along the continuous coastal path. The south coast is characterised with a mix of long sandy beaches, small coves and dramatic cliffs rising out of the sea. The north coast forms one bank of the Loughor estuary where the salt marshes are famous for the distinctive salt marsh lamb, and native ponies grazing on the estuary. The Gower is a water sports hot spot, with everything from surfing to canoeing, from hang gliding to rock climbing, and exhilarating coastal path walks. In an area of only 13 by 8 miles there is a surprising amount of activities to keep the whole family entertained, including many first class and distinctive pubs and restaurants, several with their own micro brewery

Swansea

Port Eynon is a small former fishing village at the most southerly point of the Gower, with its own micro climate which often means the sun is out whilst it is raining a short distance away. The road into the village ends there and the view over the top of the village as you begin your descent down to the village looking over the sparkling sea across to the North Devon coast is spectacular. The cottage is 100 yards from the beach, and close to the village pub, a first class restaurant and pizzeria, and 2 fish restaurants. You can walk along the beach east to the village of Horton, and westwards along the coastal path to Rhosilli Bay, voted one of the top ten beaches in the world. Gower Coast Sea Adventures runs from the slip way in Port Eynon with marine experts to take you into the wonderful marine environment of seals, dolphins, a rich variety of marine life, plus the history of the formation of the Gower landscape and the folk who populated the area throughout history
