From the owner

The 2nd floor apartment enjoys sunshine throughout the day and sits within a purpose built block on a quiet side road yet within the heart of Swanage just 50 yards from the sea front.

The apartment has been tastefully decorated and carpeted throughout with contemporary furniture and high quality bedding and linen supplied. Bath towels are also provided. There is also a hairdryer in the main bedroom.

The flat has gas fired central heating and comprises a generous and social kitchen/diner/lounge which has a large corner sofa bed, dining table to seat up to six, coffee table and TV unit. Free broadband/WiFi is available as well as a basic satellite TV package offering all of the usual free view channels plus assorted Sky channels and a catch-up facility. There is also an Echo Dot to provide music and hopefully answer any questions!

The kitchen area has been refurbished this winter and includes a washing machine, gas hob with electric oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the pots, pans, utensils, glasses, mugs and crockery you would want and expect. A selection of tea, coffee (including decaf), sugar, condiments, herbs, spices and cooking oils are provided for your use.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed, large chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a full length mirror.

Bedroom 2 has a new double bed and mattress, a wardrobe, a small chest of drawers, bedside cabinets and a full length mirror.

The modern tiled bathroom has a bath with shower over.

There is a floor standing fan available for your comfort in hotter weather.

Pets are welcomed (we have dogs ourselves) and we would ask that you make use of the pet blankets that are provided to cover the sofa and/or beds.

For those not planning to bring a pet, please be assured we do the housekeeping ourselves and take pride in ensuring all is spotless and specifically hairless for all of our guests.

We live nearby and will meet and greet you on your arrival and will be happy to assist as required during your stay.

We have a parking space for your use at a local hotel just 2 minutes walk from the apartment, however you are able to load/unload directly outside the apartment.

We strongly encourage you to read the customer feedback.

We are pleased to able to offer the apartment directly adjacent (the entrance doors are opposite each other), which is a near mirror image of our existing apartment. This offers the opportunity for larger groups of friends or families to stay together without being together!!

We will meet guests on arrival to help unload and accompany to the secure parking at the nearby Purbeck House Hotel. We will also meet guests on departure to collect keys and parking permit. We live just five minutes from the apartment and are available and happy to assist throughout your stay.

Why can't I call Hannah (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Hannah (the owner) a message.

If Hannah (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
