Situated a stone's throw from the famous Swanage steam railway, this property is only 5 minute walk away from the local amenities of the town and the blue flag beaches. There are so many things to do and see, many bridleways and footpaths for mountain biking, rambling or horse riding, local swimming pools, tennis courts, an indoor and outdoor bowling green, a funfair and amusement arcade from Easter through to October, and between Swanage and Studland, a golf course to while away the hours.

“Chestnut Mews a great base for a Swanage family holiday”

This property was ideal for a three generation family stay, 6 adults, a small child and a baby. It was welcoming, well maintained, and comfortable. It had a home from home feel and there were some toys, games and DVDs available for guests use. It was an ideal location for access to the beach and local amenities. Being adjacent to the steam railway was a huge bonus - watching chugging trains from the house was a delight. The train ride to Corfe Castle is a must.

“Lovely house, great for our family to use for a long weekend”

The house is ideally situated for the shops, beach and railway - great location in quiet road. Bathrooms were very well appointed and all bedrooms were a great size and very comfortable. Our party comprised 6 adults and a toddler but for a longer stay with all bathrooms fully occupied, we felt that the kitchen space would be somewhat cramped. The kitchen however had all the essentials (apart from an electric kettle which we found puzzling) and was fine for our needs. Lack of wifi for some people may be an issue but for us it was fine. We would definitely use this house again when we return to Swanage, a great holiday let.
