Description

New to the holiday rental market in September 2015, We are the raised ground floor apartment of this pretty seaside Victorian building, converted in 2008, with stunning sea views. Sitting in the heart of Swanage about 100m uphill from the beaches, restaurants and local amenities we are a short walk into town but far enough away to make this a peaceful location at night.

We have prepared our home for couples of all ages who wish to enjoy and explore the Isle of Purbeck however due to the age of the building and the entrance steps, this apartment is not suitable for people with limited mobility or small children.

The apartment is solid wooden floored throughout, has high ceilings and is stylishly furnished. There is a large Master bedroom (with sea views and TV) and its own on-suite shower room. In addition there is another family bathroom with a bath.

The bright, spacious and pretty main living room has the kitchen and dining area within it with fantastic views over the town to the sea. The kitchen is well fitted with most the appliances people would want including a washing machine. Free 10mb Wifi is included at no extra cost. There is a large 40" TV with DVD. There is a HiFi system connected to the DVD and also an iPod dock.

The apartment has a dedicated covered private parking space, which due to its location so near to town is important due to the usual overbearing parking controls.

We provide all linen and towels for your stay but please make sure you bring beach towels, toiletries (and any bedding needed for your dog if we have pre-approved them coming). We also prep the flat with a couple of toilet rolls and two dishwasher tabs to get you started. Due to electrical safety legislation we do not provide a hairdryer so do please bring your own if you need one.

Please note that due to our cleaning service availability, our changeover day is normally a Saturday but out of season, please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate you for short breaks. We currently can not generally offer Monday arrivals due to the unavailability of our cleaning service. Please note we can not automatically block this on the TA site so we have to respond by declining your formal booking request regrettably. Therefore please contact us first and we can check if a Monday arrival is possible dependant on when the last guests left.

We get quite popular and sometimes we have more than one quote open for the same rental period so our policy is to accept the first person to pay the deposit irrespective of when the quote was issued so we recommend you respond promptly to secure the dates you want.

The property is no smoking and that includes the communal areas;

We allow one small dog only if notified in advance of its breed and we do charge a small fee which we pay our cleaner to ensure future guests enjoy a clean flat. Due to previous experience we regret we cannot accept cats.

“Perfect seaside apartment”

This lovely apartment is perfect for a relaxing holiday, even though it's in the town it's far enough away from the noise so it is quiet and peaceful. It has amazing sea views from the lounge and bedroom. It is very well kept,lovely furnishings every you need and spotlessly clean.Will definitely book again. Thanks Jonathan and Angela.

Lovely modern apartment with the bonus of its own undercover parking space. It has been tastefully modernised but kept some lovely original Victorian features. Immaculately clean everywhere and linen, towels and throws were all fresh and high quality. Perfect location much loved by our Jack Russell for the amazing sandy beaches around the area and abundance of dog friendly pubs! Great for visiting Studland (our favourite of all the beaches), Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Lulworth Cove and Durdledoor. Swanage itself is friendly with useful shops and good cafes, and the old steam railway is right in the centre and free to go into the station which is like going back in time. Only two minor things to suggest to the owner, please put a mirror in the bedroom as there are none other than in the bathrooms so not ideal for drying hair, and we were unable to turn on the radiator in the hallway which made that end of the apartment a little chilly in December. However, these small things did not spoil our stay in your lovely apartment and it is well deserving of 5 stars. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you!

A mirror is planned and you have confirmed exactly what my wife has said all along (but us men are blind to!). The hall radiator is only off as we have a slight leaking valve on it which is also scheduled for repair. One of the problems with being so popular is finding a guest free time to fix such things! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and wish you a Happy Christmas.

Parking! Bonus in Swanage. Close to all amenities, lovely view. Ideal apartment for 2 people. Apartment has everything you need for self catering.

Location is 5 mins walk from Swanage town and the sea front. Apartment is beautifully set out with everything you need for your stay. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We will be visiting again.

enjoyed a lovely one week stay here, only a few mins walk to the shops and swanage bay, a real bonus having an allocated covered parking space, sharon in flat 2 below is very friendly, would love to stay here again when we next visit swanage.
